our guild leader was down, asked for a rezz with a melinoe member near, he said he'd be right there, walked next to him, then said "oh, it's you, hahaha" then walked off without rezzing.

I dont like Adolf Hitler and his regin, but his reasons were better.

As for I know, there is no rules to that you have to rez a homin at any point. I never expect anyone to rez me when Im down, but its really nice that homins run a mile to rez me, and maybe end up in DP themself.

Amana, if your guild want respect at Atys, you should'nt do such things for that bad reason.

Next, will one declare war at a guild that loses a member to another guild? Or wearing the same armor as another..?

This is posted with the utmost respect for Electrometrix (who's having some problems posting & thus my intervention to save the day and keep the general public abreast of today's happenings) and a tear of sadness for his inability to author this on his own.

Our Ally... Protectors of Atys... Karavan guild known throughout the lands would like to issue a formal warning to all members of Melinoe to be weary while traversing any PvP zone as the Protectors of Atys are hereby declaring war on Melinoe.

Electrometrix got killed near the kami tp in GoC, when he was nuking some plants. A melinoe member (cant remember name, sorry, begins with an A and had a z in it i think) was in the vicinity and on the way to rez Electro i think. Electro complained about not being rezzed since she was practically standing on top of him and the melinoe member replied with saying she didnt want to get killed ("i will rez you but i wont die for you") (he had aggroed several mobs after all) and was waiting or something. They started flaming eachother, then started flaming eachothers guild and "you are added to KoS list" and such.

If this is the reason for the declaration of war i dont know

This is a bit sad... unless the flames and name-calling or whatever are the actual reason for the declaration of war (I don't know the details, so I will refrain from commenting), putting "someone in the KoS list" or declaring war for not rezzing is a bit drastic imho. At most I'd think "ok, this guy does not rez me, I won't rez him if I see him dead", but stil...Maybe it's just me, but when I die, I don't take the rez for 'granted' (I guess digging a lot in Prime Roots, with almost never someone around to rez has a lot to do with it).

In other words, I may ask for a rez, if people are around, but I don't expect one. I also don't want to cause inconvenience, and I'd hate it if someone gets DP trying to rez me. Heck, I *did* die, it was my fault, if there is someone to blame is the torbak, the plant, the vorax or my total lack of sneaking skills.

It is a very nice thing, common courtesy, etc. that players are willing to stop what they are doing, teleport, etc. to rez. I do that a lot, I rez and I have been rezzed, but sometimes, being human like I am, getting 3 rez requests on a row, even from the same players can be a bit tiring.

Also, I am aware that even with blue dots around, players can be afk, in a tell, reading forums, or even did not see the 'red tab' meaning that something has been said in region chat.

can't you just have a guild battle in the arena and be done with it? Surely you can leave it at that
