Its different from what i've read but I haven't played WoW nor do i care to. I like Ryzom cause its different and that will probably be why you like or dislike it. Only suggestion I have is to take your time and look at the graphics as they are really nice. Take your time look up at the sky look at the ground look at everything.

Sleep had been cut down to 3 hours a night, my job suffers from it, social life is turned to a minimum ... Are you really sure you wanne try this game??

Me played Wow, never went back. A friend from there came over to Ryzom and seems to be addicted to harvesting

It depends on you, its all quite different...
