I really don't know what happen between you and Mor in the past, but can't you too act civil the way Hillary and Bill did?
Fyrx, mate, we're friends and you're welcome to speak your mind. In this case, however, I suggest you do a search of this guy's forum posts before you conclude that I'm not giving him the "benefit of the doubt." As for the thing with Morg, maybe reread my post above - it sure seems civil to me, and that was absolutely the underlying intent.

note for Keoni: When I'll fall in the knees before you, and beg for your respect, feel free to tell me that. Till then... keep your oppinions about me for yourself.

Please, Lawrence, lock this thread. It is meant to be read, I see no reason for comments, exept from Morg.

I don't care a damn about this thread man but trying to take away peoples right to post comments on something just cause you want only your point of view to come across is not how forums work. You said yourself that you were expecting flames, why do you then tell someone not to flame you? I'm bored of you.

Oh and btw, just in the imaginary scenario you created? If I heard a rumour from you on anything, I would instantly mistrust it. Even from someone I know on here I would check sources first. People who believe that one rumour can substantiate another are not very clever. People also tend to believe trustworthy sources, which are few and far between.

Grin - just to be a bit different, and 'cause it seems more legible (at least on my screen) on the dark green background. But sometimes, for funsies, I switch to cyan... :)

wow... two posts for me in less than 24 hours!
I thank you for you apology, first and foremost. We met in game shortly after the post you mentioned and I believed things were sorted out.

But I must say, no one believes I was a ***Edited by Administration: As previously stated, please avoid making racial or political references on these message boards, especially to sensitive topics such as WWII.*** from your threads (least in my opinion). You simply provided information on the various aspects of my name, which I also did in turn. So at that point, one could say we were on equal ground. However, when I directly come out and TELL you whyI chose the name, I doubt many people would continue on that path.
I also know that the most recent brush with ***Edited by Administration: As previously stated, please avoid making racial or political references on these message boards, especially to sensitive topics such as WWII.*** was from a person who had only recently started posting, and had therefore not seen your past posts.

To be honest, I don't really care what people call me. ***Edited by Administration: As previously stated, please avoid making racial or political references on these message boards, especially to sensitive topics such as WWII.*** And the people whos opinions I truly care about are the people who know me well.

Take a second before hitting that button and think "do people really want to read this?" I think you'll find that the last two threads on Me aren't. First was Keoni's I'm-not-making-a-point-just-posting thread on, well, nothing really. That sentiment was echoed by the rounds of "whats the point of this?". Now we have this one, thats attempting to bring back that thread, but with an added twist of "I started it". well, hate to break it to you two, but no one wants to read this stuff. If you want to say something to me, have the courage to say it to me in-game.

I agree. If we have something to say to another person, it probably best to keep the converstion with that person alone. If there is a public discussion, that has a variety of people involved then sure, subjects regarding that discussion should be posted pubicly.... but lets use common courtesy with each other, especially when we dont share the same opinions. That way, we dont clog up the forums with meaningless "clutter."

Think of the Ryzom prospects that come here to read about the game... and all they get are our sorry soap operas. :)

I'd like to appoligize for making the mistakes that i've mentioned, and I will try to do better in the future.

(man, who thinks I'm just the lamest person around??) lol

*don't answer that!!

ditto.

My bad, keo, for making assumption of things between you and morgain, sorry about that. I'll let you spenk me later. But for this thread I really think you're being a bit unreasonable. The man even stated that he would pm if he could but he can't. Anyhow a lock seems like a good suggestion here. I am shutting up now. Maybe I'll log on a bit later to appologize to you properly.

That's a valid point Morg, and I for my part am trying to elevate the level of civility in whatever exchanges we might have on the forum (as of today, I don't pretend that I've lived up to that description over the sum of our exchanges). So, if I disagree with you, I'll say so, and where I agree with you, I'll say so, but I'll do my best to keep the personality issues out of it.

To that end, I do agree with you here, although I further suggest you could perhaps do better at heeding your own advice. The most recent example that comes to mind, by way of what I mean by that, was when you recently quoted someone's entire, long, well-thought-out post, and all you added was a two word response which seemed flippant to me - "bitter, much?" if I recall correctly. That did not seem to add anything constructive to the discussion, in my view. N'est pas?
