Speaking of not being alone in my rants... MMORPG.coms review points to a rather particular issue: powerless, clueless GMs
i really wish i could argue with the guy but i agree with him
can i get an official response
"In game support is generally pretty responsive, but the answers are mostly along the lines of, "that's a known bug," or, "I'll pass that along, but I can't help you with that." A petition regarding a mysterious loss of two hours of experience from a previous play session was met with, "Hmmm...that's strange. I can't give you those levels back. Sorry!" Nevrax should be bending over backwards and erring heavily on the side of caution to keep its customer base happy, given that the players are regularly contending with a raft of problems. So what if a few people gain an undeserved level or two here on the front end? That's better than having a number of people who paid for the game leave because their hard work evaporated and the game masters could offer nothing more than a heartfelt apology. The staffers are extremely polite and responsive, and certainly they are dealing with a plethora of issues. Judging from the quick response both in-game and on the message boards, they have the potential to be a first rate response team, if only Nevrax will be allow them to truly fix problems rather than just pass them along."

While there is room for improvements in customer service, compared to other mmorpg companies , Nevrax is heads above them ie SOE. I know cause I've had to deal with those companies in previous games I've played.
I can't see why people think the GMs are clueless, and why they are always down on them. I have always gotten a quick response from the GMs, and they are always helpful. Go to another game and you'd be lucky if you even get to talk to one when you have any trouble.
I gave Ryzom a B, 80. There are things that still need to be improved in the game. We shall see what comes in the next few months after the next couple of patches especially the spring clean and with the addition of out posts. Hopefully, the game will rise in popularity and in score.

uh, seriously, you expect gms to have the ability to give you experience whenever they feel like it?
think about what would happen if they'd give one person xp that claims to have lost some due to a server crash, etc. more people would come and demand the same and quite a lot of scammers would be among them.
the only alternative is checking the server logs, which would take up invaluable developer time and would delay other things.
what do you think would be more preferrable?
converting the csrs to an experience dispenser station? wasting hours to restore the xp of one person? or simply telling them that they suffered a small rollback and there's nothing to be done about it?

i have to say i can see why the game can get a mediocre review because its all very mediocre right now the game has devolved in my opinion
5 months ago b4 i quit playing there was just as many people around in the towns as there is now yet theres 2 servers in 1 =/
prime roots seem to be worse for foraging you get 70-80 mats per season once a year and deposit tracking leads you to depleted sources
modifiers have been attempted at fixing, 2h stavon swords i notice display the corect modifiers whereas other weapons dont display any. armour dodge mods work now i noticed which is one good point i suppose
alot of the rite missions still not working after 5 months of being live
the part of your inv where you can equip your hands still isnt working so why add it and leave it there useless for 5 months?
lvl 150 pvp areas in prime roots always used to have a vorax or 2 at the boarders now they have around 5-6 great vorax. who needs pvp areas lets just get ganked by a vorax instead ;P
the game does have the potential to be alot more i just hope that the devs decide to add some more new fun stuff for us to do as compeating with there changes really is getting me down and makes me see why i first stopped playing 5 months ago

Diggin,
I can otherwise agree on your post, but points regarding pr are simply wrong.
Mats are plentiful in PR, you can dig same couple of spots for day straight just stop for crafting when bag is full.
Only Elusive Forest borders are guarded by Voraxes. This leaves 95% of PR PvP area Vorax free.

I'm sure we'll hear, and see, things come e3. If I was them I'd be waiting on a publicity/content push after then.

choice mats in pr are plentifull yes which makes skill raising ok but deposit tracking sending me to a scource thats alrdy empty thats ment to be like that? supreme mats still deplete and dont come back till the next season when there available =/
the supreme mats were made harder to force people to fight over them if there isnt enough mats for more than 1 person i can see where that would cause conflict yes but i can also see where it causes people not to even bother going for the mats
