Why not when is not doing what it's supposed to do? You can allways kill it and buy another from the stables. Are plenty to go around.

And IF they know, why they don't do something? Something like a post: "We know you all are not satisfied with the quality of our services, but we are working hard on this. We are very sorry for the inconveniences. At this moment we are working at ....., and the next priority is ........"

Their attitude is what makes me crazy. They are posting "bugfixes" like they are bragging with them, they are doing small adjustments, tiny "events" and stuff and are aspecting from players to jump for joy.

Changing the manual is not the way, nor changing the story.

Very good point here, 100% agree. Too bad we had to pay for an unbaked piece of bread.

Wanna see a game free of bugs, with no patches, with a solid story and a huge playerbase? Go check Project Entorpia. Too bad you need a huge wallet to pay there (at higher levels you will pay about 500-700 USD/month). That's why I'm here and not there.

Because criticsms are not effective if you repeat it too much. It wears thin. Common knowledge.

why are u here exactly? if you are not enjoying the game and the community wouldn't it be better for you to find something else to do? There are lots of us that are happy here. It's a little sad that when people get bored with a game they feel this urge to try and bring everyone else down to their level of unhappiness.

take a chill pill (or two), negativity will never help.

So your intention is to kill of the Ryzom Community then go and find a new game to play?

They did - Spring Cleaning announcement - they said it would take time, you keep asking the same question when you already have an answer, its just you did like the answer they gave.

So if they post that they fix bugs - they lose cas they are 'bragging'
And
If they don't post anything - they lose cas they are not keeping you informed.

So you want to eat your cake and have it then?

I am sick of the idea the 'Ryzom is in Beta', the product is 'Final release'!

Yes there maybe bugs and some things listed on the box (outposts) missing, but there is also a tonne of stuff thats not on the box that you NEVER mention.

Betas - are a testing phase - do you feel you are testing this game?

AND

Your seem to be saying is you want a 100% perfect product at a cheap price?
Don't we all, if you want a 100% perfect anything in this world you have to pay for it.

/rant off

I must admit, even me, the mild mannered janitor, is getting pretty tired with 'this game sucks' type posts. we all know about the outposts, bugs (although I cant say they wind me up) etc, we dont need another!

Cancel your sub and move on.

(or keep it but still move on).

over 60 patches looks for you as a finished game?
still bugs after those patches makes you to be a happy customer?

And yes, I do want a 100% perfect product at a cheap price. Is something wrong in that?
Do you trying to suggest that I should shut the **** up because of the price of the product? Where do you live guys? If you pay 10 cents for a soda and when you open the bottle find it stinks that means you should shut up? Well, not me.
You can stay there with your heads down and thank for every **** they throw in you because you've payed too less to be allowed to complain / demand. This kind of viewing things will prolly make you a model customer but also a person too polite to demands their rights. I don't know what way is the best.

Why, to post the same kind of 'ooo I'm cold-hearted and driven' stuff as before:
vutescu wrote:You can allways kill it and buy another from the stables. Are plenty to go around.

Hmm, and when the donkey is actually a real company, manned by real people, the same applies? Do you have to try and be the calculated uncaring one, or does it actually come naturally? Or is this an attempt at dry humour?

There are two schools of people here my friend. Those who will always break every situation down logically and mechanically, answering in a way that 'gets the job done'. And the others, who are prepared to give a little, to stretch their generosity due to actually caring about the product and the people involved, and what happens to them.

I'm a programmer, and it's my job to be logical, calculating, and take the route that 'gets the job done'. But you know what? In this instance, I don't follow my usual route - my sub is still open, even though I haven't played for 3 weeks. And I don't have any immediate plans to cancel it either.

There is a difference between hoping something will come good, and laying down and paying monthly fees like good little fanbois. I for one don't see 8GBP per month as a huge outlay - I'm by no means rich, but I've wasted plenty of cash on rubbish in the past few years. I can afford to pay it for a while longer, if it means Nevrax has the chance to make SoR a success. What should I do with it, buy 40 extra cigarettes a month maybe? Go and see 1.5 rubbish movies? Drink 2.7 glasses of beer? I have no idea why you're relating this to money - if you didn't have the money to play, you wouldn't be playing SoR or anything else for that matter.

Once again, the real meaning of your post eludes me.
