My wrist already hurts after crafting one lvl of earrings at Q110. I would go berserk if I tried that at lvl 240. But everyone to his own devices.

Nod, Basic... Haddo has been working jewelcraft a lot longer than I have, and since he's leveled across the board he has hundreds of more levels in jeweling than I do. The impact he had on our server (Windemeer at the time) by being willing to sell a healthy supply of jewelry to market, was my original inspiration to take up jewelcraft.

Which brings to mind an observation, for those who wonder why a set that's just 20 points higher than current market availability should be significantly more expensive. Basically - that's just how market dynamics work. When I am selling my high fails on the merchant, those that are even just a few points below what Haddo has for sale will languish on the market if I do not offer them at a significant discount. There are a lot of dappers out there, and currently there's not a lot of things to spend them on that people really want or need - so folks are willing to spend big to get the best available equipment. If I were offer q250 jewelry on the market without asking for a significant premium, I would be cheating myself and my guild (as a good portion of my personal wealth is earmarked towards arming our guild outposts to the teeth), and I would also be disrespectful to Haddo as I see it.

In short, I'm not trying to replace Haddo, as I don't have that level of skill, nor that much time - I am looking to supplement him. There are several q250 jewelers on this server, but up until now they haven't been willing to supply outside of guild, at least not openly. Then there's Haddo, who provides excellent jewelry, in quantity, at reasonable prices. And now there's me, and I'll be providing the best currently possible, in limited quantity... knowing that before too very long, Haddo will catch up to 250, or at any time, one of the other q250 jewelers could step into the marketplace.

To Keoni: Heh. I dont want to blow a market here, but I sold and I will sell my jewels at only 200% profit margin. You can even stay in head and ask me to not do so, but I will. I can craft only q150 now (in all branches) but soon I'll be able to craft higher q. I really dont care about the efforts you've put in leveling Keoni. Really. Was the way you've chosen. I've done the same, I know the long way to reach that point but I'LL SELL THEM AT 200%, and I'll laugh at your desperate attempts to obtain 2 mils for a set.
For those who wants jewels check Thesos market. I do not take orders, all I craft is on free market. Of course that's after all my guildmates are suplied.
I don't like the monopols. I craft for homins, not for money.
You want money and a name. Good luck.

PS To others: escuse the harsh tone in the post but annoys me greatly when I see someone trying to make money in this way.

PPS Ah. Beware, if the jewel have less than 119 HP and is still "choice" means lower mats were used in crafting.

You're welcome to sell your wares at whatever price suits your fancy. As market conditions change, I will adjust my pricing accordingly. No harm, no foul, no worries. If I thought someone was just dumping goods to undercut the value, I would consider buying all of their efforts and reselling them at a profit. No individual seller can truly set pricing on an item - value is ultimately decided by the market.

And, actually, I believe a 200% markup is a bit high for q150. I usually just sell fails in that range to NPC, but if I do sell them to players (probably through an intermediary, due to the merchant slot limit) they'd be at 150% or so. I believe lower level players should be able to have good stuff at affordable prices. I also believe that veteran players should be able to buy the best, at prices that they (but not necessarily beginning characters) can afford.

i'd pay easily 5 million for it, just looking at the mats they can provide me and its worth it :x

peeps complaining about the dappers being worthless ... well doh

Focus Jewels - I would pay a high price for (my current set, a gift has only lost 2 or 3 HP in the last month) so unless I do some heavy hunting in the (by mistake) they should last me for about another 20 months :P

HP Jewels - Power hunters, on over level mobs (under level mobs you don't really need to wear you jewels at all) can break a 'poor' set in a few days. My temporary set has still got loads of HPs and I have been equivently lvl hunting for about 3 weeks now. (lvls gained approx 60 in melee and magic)
So if I power huntered - I would either want very good jewels or cheap through away ones.
For normal hunting - I would like averagely priced jewels with good HPs

Jewel crafters have the plus that everyone wants their product, but the downside that sensible players will only need a new set every know and then.

4 months ago I would quite happily paid 10 mill for a ql250 set of focus (you just couldn't get them for love or money), if my current set broke I think I could easily source a resonably price set from the merchants (however I do tend to support inner guild crafters, but thats only right IMHO)

200% means an earring will cost around 6k, a bracelet around 10k, an anklet 9k, a ring 8k, a pendant 15k, a diadem 20k. Total: around 100k / set (q150, choice, any boost or combinated boosts). I guess at q200 will be around 150k and at q250 will be around 200k. That's far away from 2 mills.

Imo jewels in this game should be like socks. You should be able to wear a pair as long you like, then you should be able throw them away coz are cheap enough to afford another pair.

U dont craft high level things do u? u have any idea how much dappers go into crafting to lvl it? Keoni paid millions to peeps to dig his stuff. Now he wants some money back to invest in his guild and his other crafts (wich is perfectly understandable) if u want 250k for a ql250 well then I suggest u simply make them urself …

crafters are getting millions of dappers for only leveling so what he buys he earns back ;)

Its but a very select group who gets millions of dappers tbh, I know good crafters who grind a lot and have 0 money left after they did, basic bones sell at 4k+ the bone (like stated in another thread). If I wane grind my sword lvl 1 lvl I spend around 2 million to get the mats. Granted I earn more then a million too/ day now BUT it took me lots of dappers to get here. If I didn’t crafted I’d be rich by now only hunting lol
