No Kami fame from Kami npc Missions Normal?

Maybe this is different in some way, but we recently did a series of bandit-killing missions. We only targetted the easy to kill bandits at the time and as such got no xp. But we did get fame changes as expected (sort of the point of the exercise). Maybe because it's bandits instead of tribes?

You get fame for killing bandits?? Or did you mean You get fame for taking missions that ask you to kill bandits? I haven't paid that much attention (just grabbed their loose change and ran).

Missions. PF is a mostly Matis guild, so in an attempt to curry favor with our Tryker allies (i.e. improve fame so we can get at the encylopedia rites), we gathered up every bandit-killing mission we were allowed in Fairhaven and then went out hunting. Since there were about 7 of us, we had to kill the same bandits many times to clear all those missions, but it definitely caused a nice increase in everyone's personal Tryker fame and our guild fame.

Almost everyone in the group was using skills at least 50 levels higher than the bandits we were killing, so we never got any xp.

Those of us that were allowed, even grabbed the Corsair's bandit-killing mission even though it hurt our Karavan fame. It was a small price to pay to make nice with the Tryker alliance.

You don't get fame for killing tribes if you don't receive experience for the kill. So if you are more than 50 levels above them. This doesn't apply to missions.

My matis and Karavan personal fames are not up to 90 yet, but I'm definitely not getting any when I do green seed missions.

yes you do get xp and interaction for killing tribes you get no xp off of, i get negative fame for killing sacred sap, well i used to but that's another story and i'm not giving that idea away, however i first killed them when i was lvl 200, sacred sap are in a lvl 100 zone and i got negative fame for killing them

there is a limit to how much fame they will give you and like i've said before i'm not going to tell you what it is but the answers are in front of you if you pay attention you'll be able to figure it out

nope you'll get negative fame from them for killing them. if you kill a tribe that you don't get xp from but have no interaction, you'll get negative fame only but no xp.

there is a lot to the interaction of tribes in the game and they give out both positive and negative fame in a particular way and for a specific reason and i've done a lot of personal research on the tribes and interactions and i've said about all i can about fame because the rest of it is a guild secret that we're keeping inhouse for now but if you pay attention to everything you'll be able to figure it out

Yes, the green seed missions used to give me karavan and matis fames, but now it's just green seed. I don't recall when it stopped, unfortunately. I do know that other tribes still raise my karavan fame, so there isn't a hard limit where you stop getting "collateral" fame. It may be related to the level of the tribe you are doing missions for.

As for killing tribes, I've killed members of many tribes without losing any fame. Maybe something has changed. I'll have to take down some first deserters and see.
