You can already see that with the events, A character will appear (for the certain events that you get story time
) and you hear Saiwin interacting with the character

Just a few off the top of my head...
Jumping - need I say more
Swimming *Under water* (new skill maybe, you can stay under longer with practice. Also, could make for a new helmet craft w/ breathing apparatus).
Explorable caves and tunnels (instanced and non-instanced - something we can get lost in) on land and under water.
Material upgrading - take those 10 useless basic mats and turn them into 1 fine, 50 fine = 1 choice, 100 choice = 1 excellent etc.. (just a thought
)
Dyes
I believe the title for 150 Defence Affliction is Summoner so how about some skills that are actually summoning something
Pets that you can capture and train for riding, fighting, digging (ragus), scouting (look through your pets eyes) etc.. It would be hilarious seeing a tryker guild riding off in to battle on their yubo pets.
--------------------------------------------------------------------------
That's all I can think of for now but there definitely needs to be more imagination put in to Ryzom. Hope the Devs have some surprises for us.

Material upgrading sounds like a great idea - can have a failure rate too. I hope you've sent a suggestion ticket for that.

Although i would want this idea to become real, it would decrease the value of supreme mats, one could just get stacks of choice mats, or even excellent and convert it, the requirement from excellent to supreme would be 500 or something, but for a guild who cant get sup amber by themselves, they would just hold a desert forage party and just get tons of amber convert it to the very few sup amber they need and have some of the best amps

agreed maybe limit it till excellent mats as some supr stuff requires some excellent ingr to get fe max speed etc. for the rest very good suggestion. i say ticket it

Seriously what i wish to see in the future are "new real options" for all the skill trees. What do i mean? Not necessarily strong uber stuffs, but just a change of look.
A warrior could get for example a new stanza ( insert here the effect ) with a new cool attack animation
A mage could get graphically new spells ( What about new elements? like Void for example )
A crafter of course could get new patterns. Normal Quality, Medium Quality, High Quality, Superior Quality? Elite Quality?
Maybe every race can get a *personal* customization for their armors only. So you will get the best looking Tryker armors from a Tryker only etc...
Having "goals" to obtain like those, will let me enjoy the game more. I just feel that the skill trees after certain levels are... repetitive and boring
