For once, I think it might have been just you! I got reassurance (we're not going under) and great confidence in the future.
Sadly I also got the "internal restructure" thing. My heart goes out to the team, it's nasty when financial problems cause employment issues.

hehe, well that was my first reaction. was running out the door from work 2 goto the pub so not exactly a well argued point lol
tbh i havent been particularly concerned about proceeding, despite the flames ryzom is still in a position to carve a niche in the market. My feeling is it is gonna take a little time for it grow and the word to spread, but at the end of the day we have a great community, a beautiful world and i see the future brightly lit.
SoR is a bit of a slow burner, it lacks the instant gratification of WoW et al but given a little more time and a bit more love i expect great things _) I got a mail today from someone who left to play XxX but has realised that actually he was having a lot of fun here so is coming back ('lo sami btw)
what i would like to see, after 7 months in retail is some 'new' content; not necessarily new lands, but maybe a skill tree or 2, or the introduction of raids on towns or some form of semi regular event to keep ppl amused. We all love the game, but as time goes on the boredom sets in..

My opinion as well. My prediction actually is, that it will take Ryzom some 2 to 5 years to really bloom. If Nevrax can keep it alive for that long Ryzom has all chances to become another sucess story. But new things need time to grow and a lot of nurishment.
