I don't know about you, but I'd rather see what's already on the server fixed instead of adding things on just for the sake of it and having them add to any problems.

Only a few min[utes]? Then you have no idea what you've missed!

I'm beginning to hate that word "Content". It's like some ideal that one can't comprehend and no one can obtain or possess.

From http://www.dictionary.com:
Content:
1) Something contained, as in a receptacle
2) The subject matter of a written work
3a) substantive or meaningful part
3b) the meaning or significance of a literary or artistic work
4) the proportion of a specified substance

I like the quote they used from Frederick Turner (author of some books I never read): "The brain is hungry not for method but for content, especially content which contains generalizations that are powerful, precise and explicit."

What precisely are you looking for? Please be explicit. "Lack of Content" is a sweeping generalization but far from powerful.

Someone could use the above definitions to flame me... please do, I'm looking for someone to add "meaning or significance" to this thread. :)

ok u are a Fanboy/girl y u see noting Wrong with the Current State of affairs

ok lean very close i am going to use plain words

If Ryzom is to Suceed then they need to make it fun.....

Grind with no Story or rewards that are either entertaining is only fun for a while
it has long since no longer been fun for quite some time soon no matter what they do many more will feel this way even many hardcore will be the same so don't use mindless "bugs fixes are better" Jargan because it is not.

Also I still wantwhat is on my box and my family ran a Print company and i have dabble with web making and guess what both for the 1st two months they both were about the same and now it is more accurate but i still have not all is still in the game as is Printed on my box

So until it matches more closely i will as will others complain

and yes Bug need to be fixed but sooner or later it will be like fixing the bugs in an Atari 2600 in 2005 and trying to compete in the modern console wars

W00T!! I'm an Otaku!!!

I see plenty of problems with Ryzom. Ask the CSRs, I've sent in many a suggestion and logged many a problem. I never said it was perfect.

But I'd much rather see things fixed before moving forward.

Ryzom is just like any other piece of software. Fix the bugs, then add new features. Otherwise the new features may collide with the current bugs, thus making even bigger problems. This is something I would rather not see.

Oh and as for the fun of the game. Well I have great fun. Lots of it even. Come play with us. We'll show you the kind of fun that can be had in the here and now :D (not sarcasm. I'm serious)

I work on weekends every weekend and most "events" that some call content happen then. most events do nothing to Change the world we play in net little to no cool aratifact weapons or armor

the rites that most are unfinishable give stuff that would be great as Builders to better items but have yet to be implemented so...

Content in this context is something that improves the fun factor and make me feel as thoght i have done something besides Grind

He he. I'm proud to be a fanboy and glad you use the term. I am a great fan of the devs and think they have done a marvelous job with the world. Yes I look forward to the content to come but I think there is a great deal of content as is! I, and many others like me, have loads of fun on Atys. So what you're really saying is that the devs need to pander to.....you! And other trolls like you! :D I can just see it now in the boardrooms. "Hey guys, we need to release some more content quickly! We've got two trolls on the board making trouble! To the BatCave!"

Do you really think they aren't trying or something? What with all that's been going on, do you reckon the devs are sat on a beach somewhere sunning themselves, drinking margeritas and laughing?! Are you a loon? If so answer yes to the first two questions.

By the way, you should get back to your bridge, I can hear some goats coming. :D

So basically the whinge boils down to 'there's no phat loot!'

There's the Boss armour, and look at the hassle that's caused with spawn camping and really only two or three heavy duty guilds getting it, over and over and over again.

That's what Phat Lewt leads to, farming and complaints and rivalry and idiocy.

No thanks.

Not long to E3, lets see what's being unveiled.
