my only issue with them was the skills weren't chainable, meaning if i used my own speed skill i could not use the egg's speed up power and vice versa, it was limited to the regen time of my corresponding power

found that out trying to outrun a herd of torbaks hehe
The eggs (speed/invul etc) are chainable if you dont use your own auras.

bah i did it the wrong way then

btw i'm not saying the egg hunt is bad, i had a good laugh at it and lots of fun and an even bigger one when one attacked me

btw zum you're the pot calling the kettle black, you along with raynes and tetra complain the most on the board and now you're making a point of how someone expresses discontent at a part of the game

I just think they should make it special, and not trivial....

complaints are meant to be prods, i want them to do more, is ther a better way to motivate them?

thexdane no offense, but there is a difference between complaining about missing content and complaining about a freebee event that was designed to be fun

complaining about an easter egg that is a new design in the game for fun is pathetic, and by the way thex, easter egg hunts were not on the box, so complaining about what they can or can't do, is not constructive criticism

giving constructive criticism as to what you would like to see at next years easter event, that is a different story, give them something to chew on for next years easter event, don't make them regret even having the event to begin with by crying over the egg not giving you uber stats

OMG! Why are you complaining about a little gift you get?

The eggs are just a little extra, and looking for them can be as much fun as when you were a small kid looking for the eggs. Just enjoy the little work the devs put in for you.

My guildies were starting a hunt for eggkan (boss of easter eggs) just for fun. Dont think they ever found it, but it was hillarious to listen to the chat.

These eggs are AWESOME!! I'm sorry, but man, if you guys aren't happy with *free non-timed* self heals and speeds and invuls, you'll never be happy with anything you get.

The *only* possible downside I see at all to these (especially as a preview to the potions they're working on) is that the ability to 'quick use' isn't currently there. I do hope that when they officially add in potions, that they also give us the ability to assign a quick button, or the ability to drag it into our hands bar. :D

The downside for me was that they arent movable to packers etc. Being mainly harvest/craft i had to destroy most of the eggs i collected due to lack of space/bulk. Nevertheless, a fun, unexpected event :)

Mmm, yeah, that too. I forgot about that lil tidbit in my excitement, but.. they're still way cool. :D

Personally, I was thrilled with the Easter eggs. I missed the lead-in story, but had so much fun hunting that I gained two DPs keeping my eyes on the ground ;) I think it was a wonderful way to introduce the "potion, but not really potion" regen notion. I'm still running around, risking death, tempted by little balls of fun !
