server down ?

time is 11:38 GMT and still no Ryzom =(
+ they mock us by keeping the server up...and give no update on when they'll fix it whatsoever...
-=nevrax is doing a really bad job handling this=-

I am guessing that the Friday patch was meant to fix the lag problem and has only made things worse and there is much internal politics going on at Nevrax trying to decide whether to roll back the whole server to a previous lag-free version. A truly depressing decision for them to have to make. I speculate that they are having a lot of hot meetings and the poor devs are getting it in the ear.

It's 15:00 CET and the server is still down.

Let's hope it comes online to give us peace of mind

Please check your firewall settings - chances are the game client is being blocked as it changes from one port to another
