I am thinking to initially meet one weekend to talk things out. Decide how we should meet up and plan rehearsals etc to fit each other schedule, and how to plan on communication. Probably just create a thread somewhere or use another forum or emails.

I think I'll just decide now and call it The Atys Traveling Troupe.

video editing software is a completely different boat, no experience there, sorry. i can only suggest looking into several adobe products and using the huffyuff lossless codec while dealing with the material until it is ready to be compressed into the final product.
