ooo I just found something out last night that I want to share!
If you have a bunch of targetable objects (players, mobs, npcs) near by, let's see with the names:
Adam
Bobby
Cathy
Cute
you can just type /tartget A to target Adam
/target B to target Bobby
/target C will target either Cathy or Cute, whoever is closer to you
/target Ca will target Cathy
/target Cu will target Cute
Aint it cool? Hey?
oh, also /follow to auto-follow your target

Also very nice if you make a mistell,
Shift + arrow up (while cursor is active in a chat window) repeats previous typed commands and messages
It'll keep you from retyping things
Shift + arrow left (or arrow right) allows you to move the cursor left and right
Maybe you have the time to correct a typo

Another thing i would like to know is about the chat-windows. For example while harvesting i exclude the region-chat. So i can read local and region ( if someone calls for rez). But when i type into the region-chat the text ist send into the local-chat.
I only can talk to region when region is back included. Is this a general bug/feature or just with my copy ?

Chat windows ....
Local (around), Region, Team, Guild and USER
All these windows can be split into separate windows. Right click tab to make a separate window.... close the window to recombine them.
Each chat windows show only the specific chat text..... except USER.
The USER on show all chat by default. This can be filtlered by right click and toggling the appropriate message type.
You will notice that in USER ... there is a button next to where you type your chat text. cllick on this will allow you to change the chat mode .... so you can select the 'channel' here.
Hope this helps.

which, by the way, stops working when mounted. Fine mount stops walking when reaching the shore and you have to press END again.

something about my keyboard setup (as I changed most):
wasd is for turning around.
rightclick and mouse is for looking around
x: auto move
q: sit
e: stop all actions
alt-t: shout taunt (macro)
shft-t: alternative taunt macro
p: personal info
o: progression info
i: inventory
u: game configuration
m: map
I try to have my most used keys below my left hand, either with shft or alt...

One that I found only recently......
Programming slash commands to keys
eg /sit /target /follow /wave etc
How do
Create a macro.
Catagory: CHAT
Chat text: /command
I personally like having follow on a key press!
if you always follow the same person around (stalker

) you can make the macro target that player first!
