Ryzom

It was one of the worst questions yet... I initially answered Company of the Eternal Tree, then changed to Force of Fraternity... but the answer as worded makes no sense and I got no winners message as I believe I did in the past.

Where did you get that information from? I haven't found anything about 'Ryzom' in the lore, other than it being the name of the game.

ok Questions that need to be answered if u get it right does onlyt the correct answer cound and once 10 correct answers are put in does that mean that contest is over then?

raynes, your right, i reviewed my logs also, i had gotten the answer wrong so i really didn't pay that close attention, but i said eternal tree until i reread the log

i had no clue what the answer was on this one

I just read the statement and came to the conclusion that Ryzom is somehow part of the planet. Since the planet is a tree and the word Ryzom has to do with tree like plants, my conclusion is that Ryzom is indeed the tree itself.

Yes, if you put in the correct answer and then follow up with wrong answers only the correct one will count. This was the case with me and the question about Zoran. And yes once 10 people answer the question correctly, then the contest is over.

Is this verifiable ? This makes the most sense and encourages maximum participation.

I'd love an official response on some of these things... That would at least be encouraging to folks....

I can verify that putting in a correct answer and then a bunch of wrong ones, that they will only take the correct one. This is because I won a hat on one of the questions and I know for a fact I answered Zoran first. Followed by "no town because it didn't exist". Followed by a few others.

I did not recieve any notification I was correct either.

The way I read the question:

There was a group reformed with the same name as an ancient group.

7 years later a multi-race group was formed with something about brotherhood.

What was that group?

The way I read the anwer:

The Company of the Eternal Tree was the original group.

The Guild of the Force of Fraternity (Fraternity=brotherhood) was multi-racial and went marching all about 7 years later.

Then the Kami went on to tell us about the Company of the Eternal Tree

This is where it got confusing to me. The answer didn't make it clear to me which answer was correct. The Company or the Fraternity?? My thinking tells me that the Fraternity is the right one based on the brotherhood=fraternity link.

I asked the GM on duty what the correct answer was and I was told that the answer was written out and that my feedback would be sent up.

I just want to know the correct answer. I want to know if that geneology question a week ago or so was wrong like many think it was. I just wish that something would be clear in this whole contest thingie. And that the winners would get verified faster. I'm anxious.


Also, there is another thread going about the contests somewhere in this area, that Fadin comes in and says that they actually take the first 30 correct answers before closing the contest, or if a certain time passes. Not just the 11 correct ones.
