I like the out of the blue explanation about a AI Karavan ship!
But one of the major reasons I am still in ryzom is the totaly
cool fantasy the devs must have had. Gingos and Raguses
iunstead of silly wolves or wild dogs. Most things in Atys
is new and whitout any conection to the real world!
This is what I call fantasy. One more thing. I must also
say this: I think Nevrax is the second best gameworld designers.
Only beaten by Square who's makeing Final Fantasy.(now adays SquareSoft)!

Well if the monsters are like Starship Troopers then I think the plot resembles Babylon 5. They had 2 superior alien races with a diferent approach to human affairs. One guiding and one bt conflict. They assisted and interfered until the humans rebelled and decided they didn't need nannying anymore.

Anyone else see it?

I know what you're talking about, Trenker, but I doubt these alien races are going to go away to a higher state of existance! . o O (Though I dearly wish they would. Leaving their teleports behind, of course.)

Hehehe, Ive usd starship troopers to explain people of the game I play, on a very early stage heh. Since I saw one of the trailers for the first time, where some players defend a village from invading kitins.. and they fire heavy spells and grenades into the horde... mmmmmmmm!
