"Slow- Dispite the last patch notes its still not working at all."

Not true, slow is working now, at least to some extent. To observe the effect, go into a duel with a mace wielder who is using the slow attack at the appropriate level for the mace being used. Using a stopwatch and your awesome reflexes record how long it takes for your action bar to fill up to perform an attack when you are not slowed. Let the basher bludgeon you into a lethargic state :) , you should observe a hourglass in the action malus window. Record how long it takes for you to perform an attack action now that you are slowed.

I obseverved a 35% increase in the the time to attack once slowed (probably not measured very accurately), making slow a quite worthwhile skill, better than bleed IMHO. Can someone else try this out and report their own findings ?

Ive used slow many times since the patch. It has never once given me a message that the creature is slowed. However many of the stanzas that do not work on mobs work well in pvp. Thats realy great buuuuut, the game is a limited pvp game. Any way since there is no benefit to killing another player I dont see any reason to use some stanzas.

And sometimes when something works...not always...and not saying that is the case, only that it COULD be...you don't always get the message.

They might have fixed the effectiveness of the skill and forgot to fix the "you slowed so and such to the speed of a four year old trying to swing a two handed sword" or whatever.

Last I used the skill, I saw no change in how fast mobs would hit me.

Yup your right! I forgot swing attack. This is one of the very best to have. Great for add ons and soloing bandit camp missions. Ill get this one after acc atck and inc dmg.

There are the healing stanzas that are a must have also.

Heal life- a no brainer

Heal stam- must have. There are so many players that dont get this one. ?

Heal sap- If you heal and dont have this somthing is very wronge.

Every player should have these three. I can not stress this enough. There is no way you can play effectivly without haveing these. If you dont I gaurantee there is private chat going on about you in every team your in.

as far as healing self and others i prefer self heal life and stamina

healing with sap isnt completely needed because i prefer heal gift which doesnt use sap but uses your own health instead, i generally leave my sap alone unless im using offensive magic

that way your not limited to the amount of sap you have, im not saying dont get heal just incase your in a jam and being attacked and dont want to loose any more health than you have to but if your healing others use gift cause then you can attack at the same time and youll be able to do it longer...

that is at least as far as i know being a lower lvl mage

the only difference between the heal blah and blah gift spells is the credit brick involved. it's the same actual spell, just one comes defaulted with hp credit bricks and the other with sap credit bricks.
