I hope all this down time today is to move the server closer to my house and an upgrade of lines connected to it.
the ping is not terrible, it is even quite good imho, i usually get 300-400. you have to understand that the ping as well as the framerates are artificially capped in order to make equal gameplay possible for most players.

I get 200-400 pings but it plays fine overall, I don't have alot of connection problems anymore (i wasn't singing the same tune a month ago though).

So now I go to watch some anime and maybe eat some of this stuff called "food"...... I've heard it's pretty yummy

I've seen games with worse server issues though, I won't complain (much) about the ones on this game.

Its quite sad really i had the trial a couple months ago and had to wait to get a job in order to actually subscribe... I did so on thursday only to be able to play a couple hours or so cause of my new job... now on sunday the only real day i would have to play for any extended amount of time.... the server blows up ... 'sigh' its almost enough to make a grown man cry...

Well if it's any consolation Doyle, this is only the second significant blow-up I've seen in a couple of months playing. :)

They need more "blow-ups"... at least it makes people somewhat interested in the welfare of the game again, if only briefly.

I appreciate the words of some encouragement.... yesterday i bought a lcd flatpanel that looks awsome.... if it was only possible to use it on something that i thought was also awsome like ryzom... now im forced to play something as pathetic as counterstrike not nearly as visualy appealing.... i just hope the server is back up before 6 more hours so i can at least get an hour of play in before i go to bed...

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
At approximately 6:40 AM (EST) this morning, we encountered a hardware issue on the Windermeer shard. We are working on resolving the issue at this time, and it should be back up soon.

Thank you for your patience in this matter.
