Will Ryzom become the dynamic world that was advertised? This is what led to my initial interest in the game. Will we see an ongoing battle with the Kitin, where you have a front-line, and actions behind the lines? Will we see Kitin scouting parties close to major cities, which perhaps could be fought by a party of low to mid level characters? Will we see quests added relating to the conflict with the Kitin? Will players who haven't reached the highest levels be able to meaningfully contribute to the war effort, if such a war takes place? Overall, will any of our actions actually have any effect on the world?

I would like to better understand how communication works amongst the development, design, and support teams and the player community, specifically in regards to player feedback on game enhancements.

I've seen many, many great threads with all kinds of ideas for enhancements to the game. I'd like to understand what the process is for getting this feedback to the Nevrax teams.

Do the forum moderators compile this information into some kind of list that's periodically sent to Nevrax? How detailed of feedback is sent? Is it a simple list like Cerest made in post #2 of the "Post Chapter 2 Wishlist" thread or does it contain more detail than that? For example, the following are in the compiled list:

14. Balance choice and fine materials between harvesting and quartering
15. Dyes for armor

These are in response to my two posts to the wishlist which went into quite a bit of detail as to how I thought these two could be accomplished in a useful way within the game mechanics. However, if that info is lost and all that makes it back to the developers are the two line items from the list, then it feels like wasted effort. I'd hope at least, links are provided to the posts that detail out the players' ideas.

Also, how does prioritization of player feedback take place? Do the moderators perform any initial prioritization or categorization or is everything sent back as a flat list for the Nevrax teams to sort through?

Questions:

1.) Why do some of the teleporters appear broken and don't allow you to buy tickets?

2.) Why do some regions only have a kami TP or only a Karavan TP?

3.) In the "Being a Tryker" Lore, it says under Goals that Tryker should "build alliances with the Zoraïs", but below that in the Friends section it says that "The Zoraïs are not to be trusted...". It would appear that these are contradictory staements. Are these statements corrects? It would seem that based on everything else, Tryker should be building alliances with Matis.

Suggestions:

1.) Most Tryker special events are in Bounty Beaches. Can some events be held in other Tryker regions with lower level mobs, so more lower level Trykers can participate?

2.) Can a new route/portal be made so that travel between Tryker and Zorai can be done without having to go through a PvP zone? Currently the Tryker/Zorai route is the only one that has to go through both Prime Roots and PvP.

3.) How does the encyclopedia work? Explain exactly what the chest of wisdom is and the amber cubes that go in it. Is there some sort of chest that is suppose to show up in my inventory?

raynes wrote: 4) In the expected plan of progression it's listed that a new planet will be introduced in 6 months of going live. It's clear that is not going to happen, so when can we expect that?
Just to alter Raynes question 4) :)

Major Add-Ons

Within 6 months of the initial release, and on a 6 monthly basis thereafter, Nevrax plans to launch the first major upgrade. This upgrade will contain new major land maps, new generations of creatures, a new playable races and entire new sets of player activities. The Saga of Ryzom being a skill based game, the addition of new skills and associated actions is absolutely possible. All players will have access to the new content without having to abandon their existing characters in which they have invested their game time so far. The new skills and actions will give access to new branches of content, opening up the possibilities for different types of gameplay, opening up the game experience to an ever-increasing audience. The action sets for the existing skill trees will be extended, as will the skill trees themselves, allowing players to progress further than they had done previously. The major upgrades should require about as much play time, in order to reach the end of the character progression, as the initial release.

Planet 2 is a whole new game altogether, but the original question from Raynes still stands, when we can expect the first major expansion?

Cerest

There are two links to ,now, popular threads:

http://www.ryzom.com/forum/showthread.php?t=11228 - PVP Changes Request/Recommendation.

PVP system is unbalanced and could use a LOT of imporvement. Are there any plans/changes/designs to address that. If so, are they going to be published for comments or not?

Availability of Supreme mats in race specific lands:
http://www.ryzom.com/forum/showthread.php?t=11014
Currently there is no reason to advance race specific harvesting above skill level of 50. Is it something what is going to be addressed and if so, are there any place to publish rough designs.

And finally:
On Ranged Crusader's behalf - is there something thats going to be done with ranged (I love tetra's posts, but after a while it is the same thing over and over :) just like gaining levels with no place to apply them to :P - maybe if i add my voice in it will help

I dont believe its an expansion pack (though i foolishly worded it that way, apologies), i think with the way its worded, its gonna be a addon to the existing game like a patch. One big HUGE patch. Which with new lands, will probably result like the opening of the zorai portal as a massive event. :)

Planet 2, is a new retail game, a sequel, which you can export your Atys characters to.

Do to the lack of content in the game, can we expect that future expansion will be given to us at no cost and downloadable?

Will we ever be able to fight from our mount?

Will we ever be able to buy armor for our mount?

When can my packer be allowed to fly?

In the pre-relase it was stated that some day we can go up into the roots we see in the sky, when will that be enabled?

Can they make catapults, I want to tie Xcomvic to a catapult and send him flying to Fyros lands and get him off Matis lands.

When will events cause permanent in game changes?

When a Yubo hikes his leg and looks like he is tinkling on someone, can you make the armor in that area change to yellow?

Will jumping every be implimented?

Will we every be allowed to buy bunji-chords and use the cliff edges?

If the Karavan have spaceships, when will we get automobiles? It is after all, part of the technology chain.

Can we ever make zone sized explosive hand grenades?

Will the Karavan ever get the ability to call in air strikes?

Will the Kami ever get elemental power to call forth major storms and cause havoc across the lands with lightening storms?

What is up with the goo? Is there actually a way to fight it currently in game or is it like most other stuff, yet to be implemented?

In the hand book that comes with the game. Pg.43 under the heading Death, subheading Penalties, 3rd paragraph, It states

"A pact is an agreement you have with a particular Kami or Karavan. Primarily, these pacts are a function to assist the Kami or Karavan in transporting you and they allow you a singale resurrection without penalty, at the location where you made the pact. Additionally, any character with a pact may call in the favor at any time, providing them with free trasport to the pact location. Either of these uses will complete the pact and you will need to make a new one afterwords."

I bought this game the first day it came out and have never been able to get this to work.

How do you use the tickets to avoid a death penalty?

How do you get the pacts that avoid a death penalty if the tickets are not the pacts?
