Never will I strike down a fellow homin, not Matis, Fyros, Tryker of Zorai! We are one big tribe on this planet, we must unite to fight the kitin and the Karavan and Kami overlords. Am I the only one that realizes that the true thread is not those bugs, but the Outlanders that tell us how to live, how to dig and how to hunt?
I will rather die by a Kitin's strike then live under the heel of the Karavan, dig under the wrath of the Kami.

How can you call the Kami "Outlanders", when the Kami are the very spirit of Atys!? It is only the Karavan, whose ways are clearly not those of Atys, who wish to abduct us Homins away from Atys, and the Kitin, who wish us all dead.
The Kamis only desire is to help Homins live in harmony with Atys. Strip-mining the landscape only serves to hurt Atys, so the Kami actively protect that which gives us all life.
Plus they're really cute!
