uhh... by doing kami missions and killing karavan aligned npc's...

Eventually they flip from karavan to kami... I believe at least one person had to send someone a screenshot of their fame as well

OOC Umm Hello? thats like saying if your born in a country where the majority of the people follow the muslim religion that you HAVE to be muslim, and it's impossible for you to follow a different religion. Just because we have members in our guild that were born in a Karavan alligned land doesn't mean they are forced to agree with the karavan philosophy.

My Karavan spawns swapped out for Kami ones two weeks ago. I love the fuzzies and the fuzzies love me!

Oh, and you're all right -- we just like to PvP. The role that RP had in it was helping us decide who we should slaughter

sure its posible.. look at israel .. 4 religions and has been killing each other for 100s of years

It is fully possible for a Matis or Tryker to RP Kami allignment. In the eyes of a Fyros/Zorai, these former Karavaners have "seen the light". Just like not ALL Iraqis are Muslim (please do not misunderstand the seen the light as applying to this, I don't believe ANY faith is wrong if it serves the need of the adherant and harms none), only most of them are, and yes, it tends to be VERY difficult for those that are not following the flow.

It is harder to role play a convert race than to role play the mainstream. You have to figure this "change of heart" in your bio, which most of the community won't get to read (or wouldn't read even if they got a free month of play time for reading RP...sadly), and it is hard to work in your back story without it getting boring, redundant or sickening.

Think about it, EACH race/faction has the rebels as homin tribes, why shouldn't a player RP the rebel with a cause role?? (FYI I tend to go with this one, it makes the other players think or at least ask questions. I had an EQ high elf that was able to walk into the Iksar city, and even stroll past the SK/necro guild without worries.)

1. I don’t believe in pvp zones.. because both parries have to agree on it .. like GvG .. that is different .. guild declares war on another one .. if u want u can war 1000 guilds .. its your right .. at the same time u can attack your enemies anywhere u c them... now this is what i call pvp ...

2. since there is no penalty for PKing its FFA kill all u want as long as you want with nothing to worry .. not even DP ... (not that there is anything wrong with PKing).

3. i would guess 90 % of people playing have no idea what you talking about kami vs karavan alot of them don’t even know what fame is for...

4. its going to be a one sided all mages FFA .. because fighters will not be able to pvp again going back to the problem of balance of the game.

or work on the race foraging.. someone has to get to 250

I don't believe in taxes, but by golly I have to send off 20% of everything I make to the government anyway.

I do hope you're joking... the Karavan and Kami debate is something that goes on enough that at least 90% of regular players DO know about it. Especially considering that most of the GM run events so far in the game have very explicitly been about Kami v. Karavan, while the rest were about the Kitin.

Actually a Tryker is the one who started the Kult of Kami. She has been involved in the killing of Green Seed, AntiKami, and Goo Head tribes. She is a loyal Kami supporter and hates the Karavan. Not all players use the excuse they have to follow a particular faction becuase of what race they are, some actually work to get fame with the group they want to follow.

I have been in the Matis arena several times. I was in the PVP zones with CP yesterday. I was in the nexus earlier today scouting it out. I wasn't in a PVP area tonight because I was busy wiping out the Goo Heads.

Most of the players that bother to come to the forums, that have any short or long term memory couldn't miss it, but to assume that the WHOLE playerbase reads forums is to be mislead.

The biggest issue of ANY guild is to get them to the guild forum to at least READ the events, groups, skills etc. I have seen MANY players in many games that would rather eat broken glass that touch a forum, they just don't have the time (is how they say it, even when they waste HOURS getting info that is posted...TA DA...on the forums). Some won't even SCAN the forum or main offical web site.

My god, someone finally understands!!!!!!!! Unfortunality this won't be the case. Most will stay in the pvp zones and cry how players are beating up on them.
