No you don't have to travel through that area of the roots to get to the lakelands. It is the most direct route, but you can travel other ways. You talk about spoiling the game for those who don't want to PVP. Ever stop to think that your demanding not to be attacked in a PVP zone is spoiling the game for the people who RP or who want to PVP? After all they are playing the game as designed. Or don't their gameplay wishes matter?

If you or anyone else quits the game because you were attacked in a pvp zone, I can promise you that not one of the people who attacked you will feel the least bit of guilt over your quitting. The PVP'ers are playing the game as setup. You going into a PVP area and demanding not to be attack are not.

Ahahahaha That's great man. Sometimes. People are supposed to wait for you to ask? maybe? or get a full face of electricity? Man that's precious. I'm not being sarcastic at all. As a pvper I think it was a hilarious thing to post!

BTW you'll have to show me how you can tell if someone is karavan/kami.

As a full-fledged PvP supporter and almost master of pain, I hardly travel to pvp because there is not much incentive. Actually my guild has me doing other things *blech* but when I'm there I generally do leave harvesters alone. Not because I am nice, not because they're out of my way.

I don't kill harvesters because there just aren't enough people in those zones. I'd rather encourage more people so that everyone, harvesters and all can be apart of the competition. I think if Nevrax fixed the PR so that empty nodes didn't pop more people would want to go down (harvester guards to..LOTS more people). Then the balance for shutting them out wouldn't be something they can't fight (empty nodes) but something they could (you'd still loose!).

This would create a more player oriented 'raid' engine. Of course a possible bug needs to be fixed for this to happen.

as i recall CP and Melinoe (during the first PVP war in nexus) were the first guilds to have a nonaggresion pact for harvesters..I have never spoken to you about not killing harvesters..although i am not for that.

Our guild pacts still stands Kami Lover, but also my hatred for your kind. Of course you know that you and Fist need not bypass "this" homin, as I feel it my duty to put away my pick and prepare to remove your blight on Atys at any oppurtunity. I wouldn't want you complaining I "had" a pick and then attacked you... Jena be praised, this is my duty !

CP does not kill harvesters (cept for one right now and He has a bounty out on his life for crimes against a CP).

They wiped in Trench of Trials.. when Dawley went back to try and rez he was killed by members of CP and Kult of Kami.

ok i'm going to chime in on the neutrality thing as we both know who is a karavan lover and well tree-hugging kami scum (gotta wash myself with soap after typing that)


thing is NO guild is nuetral, even if they claim it. to be neutral you have to STAY OUT OF EVERYTHING, first time your guild joins any event you have now picked a side wether you want to or not

if you want to see a neutral country look at switzerland, did they join ww1 or ww2? no, they stayed out of it and continue to stay out of all wars except for peace keeping endevors

as a side note during both wars the united states was claiming to be neutral and yet supplied the allied side with weapons and ammo and cut off japan's supply of oil and supplies (which led to pearl harbour). so no they were not true neutral, this is what most guilds are doing now

i have seen many of these "neutral" guilds that cary either "karavan champion" or "kami scumsucker" tags. if you carry said tags you ARE sided with that side.

the "neutral" guilds are only neutral in that they want to be neutral when it suits their needs. unfortunately BOTH pegasus and out of cavern ARE karavan aligned, they take part in karavan events and do karava things and none of them carry "kami scumsucker" as their title, tho i've seen many a "karavan champion" title on the members

sorry but that means you ARE aligned with the karavan, if you are true neutral you will have 0 personal fame for ALL tribes and civilizations, once you gain 1 point of personal fame for anything you have picked a side.

no one can be neutral in this game so stop fooling yourself and admit you've picked a side wether you like it or not

Thats what we assumed with them being Trykers. And they had two members of The Sacred Order with them.. a guild that I had previously seen only Matis and Tryker members of.. but these two turned out to be Zorai. After talking it over with them we decided to uphold their statement of Neutrality and let them go. We didnt have enough knowledge of the guilds to declare them Karavan or Kami. We just went on the racist assumption that all Tryker are Karavan lovers.
