These calculations are exactly why I am opening more and more different branches in craft. I just really know what to do with the points..
I use them to buy:
- HP and HP regen
- Focus and focus regen
- selfheal
- speed

It is just that when I make 5 10 levels digging, I want to use my points for the extractionplans, pros plans, care plans. Getting from 120-130 will probably cost me (30 min per lvl avg when digging straight on) 6 hours gameplay. T0 get 100sp in craft will cost me about 10 to 15 mins, depending on the tree and if I have the mats (although, I have just been digging for 6 hours).

If you want to get more sp and want to do it by yourself, go digging in several different lands and craft all mats you find. Grind your life away and before you know it, you are a lvl61 2h fighter with 2000 hp. Well, I am :-)

yw :)

I actually would argue - at least on empirical data from ATS, where the 28400 points that you got at lvl 151 were only knocked down 4000 sps for everything except crafting but got knocked down 8000 sps for everything in a single race plan - that crafting is the one line that you never really have enough points in. Granted, you will have large surpluses at time (especially post-100) but if you want to pick up another race's plans that can eat through the surpluses handily. Not the case in any other line, where if you level up everything you be able to buy every skill twice.

But, yes, compared to the early going you end up having a lot more points. If you do get a big surplus early on, my recommendation is to not spend craft points on stat upgrades - use the harvest points instead. Eventually, you're going to have more harvest points than you know what to do with if you level a line or two outside your homeland.

(Yes, I'm waiting for respec) :)

I really cant see why I want to spend time diggin up *another* tree. I am 121 in lakedigging now, it took me almost two months. Really, not again! And if again, just because I like digging and not because I want the other races plans.

I rather spend that time in getting lvl150+ in off mag or something similar :-)

Yeah, you fight lvl 120 mobs with two healers. They cant kill you (healing, the great armor you made), but you cant kill them either because you just have accurate 4 :-P

i started off in lakeland forage btw and changed to fyros cos i like there light armour... i must say when you have the higher rates etc from one land its really easy to level in a difrent continent.. more mats = more xp = faster crafting = more levels = more SP = more

Depends. I think given the PR changes almost every serious crafter who wants to make high quality stuff will eventually have to level PR foraging up to 140 for supreme mats, and non-Matis crafters will have to do the same with forest for Nexus mats.

But if you're just doing crafting for sps, different story. :)

I am no serious crafter, I am a 27 yo single geek and I play a game I really love, but is still a game. So I just do whatever I like best at that moment and be *very* whimsical about it. :-)

You mean HP/Focus, right? Cannot really think of reasons to have more sap as I can get hp stanzas and thehp faster then the sap stanzas.
Also most healers have MUCH better hp heal then sap heal, so I really prefer a high lvl light with hp above hp/sap. Also cause I can use it for ranged fight then and only need to carry 3 armors around:
- light with focus
- light with hp
- heavy with hp
Along with weapons and other stuff, almost 3/4 of a packer. Actually, I think that is enough :-)
