This is a good topic.. I think it deserves a few words.
After all, one of the cool things about online games is the opportunity to meet and play with people from all over the world, and not just the peeps from your own neighbourhood, from your school or company.
Arispotle (or in other words the "EE-Server") has always been an international server, open to anyone from anywhere. One of many things that made Arispotle unique and popular among Ryzom players, is its ever-growing global community, consisting of players from all around the globe: It is home to Ryzom's Australian community, Ryzom's Spanish and Scandinavian communities... British, Hungarian and Russian communities, and many more.
Generally speaking, no matter at what time of the day you prefer to play the game, you will always be able to find other homins to play and hunt with. Some players may come from your own country or timezone, others may just be up early, or up late - while others again somehow appear to always be online on a steady 24/7 basis.

While North America and Europe are in fact "separated" by 6 hours, keep in mind that unlike in lunchbreak games or other types of games, MMORPG players tend to play for at least a few hours straight, hence "reducing" the timezone difference to a quite low level.
If you are unsure where to start - Why not head over to our guilds forum, located at
http://ryzom.com/forum/forumdisplay.php?f=9 , where you could either try asking for a guild with members close enough to your own timezone, or browse through the existing ads using the search function. Paying the Klients chat a visit when you are playing during off-hours, has proven to be of help too. And of course you always have the option to found a guild yourself.
We'll be happy to help you getting started if need be. Not by filling your mektoub packer pockets with free dappers - but, as some of you already know, Jolt (among other nifty things) offers free webhosting to guilds and clans. We can further provide you with Ryzom webkits, with the scripts that enable you to display the Ryzom server status on your webpage, and we're here to support and promote your player-run events.
