I am not denying I am upset about it, not nearly as much as when it happened, but yes I do find it upsetting. I do appreciate your effort, I really do. It just seems difficult to simply post something on the forums just to let Nevrax and others (so they can let Nevrax know too and hopefully it could be changed if enough people felt the same) know you are upset without it turning into some sort of debate.

I beg to differ that they dont ever replace items. I had a friend who lost two packers....and they were able to trace it back and recover the two packers plus each and every single item in them.....If you dont believe me send him a tell his name is Deadlyseven. It is a shame about the armor...Im sorry about that....and not to mention I have the same Ticket problem.

P.S. This recovery of the packers wasnt too long ago as I have only been playing for a month. It may have been 3 weeks ago or so.

Hmm I am finding more and more these GM's have conflicting things to say. Seems as if one hand doesn't know what the other is doing. As for the tickets, I have been making sure I see the "Lexi saved" before I log out or make sure I use the delayed exit and seems not to have any problems since but time will tell.

I don't like the rule that the GM's can't replace lost items either but it's their rule after all so you have make an attempt to make the best of it.

After all this IS just a game, games are made to have fun.

As for my comment about rollbacks that was directed towards the devs, just wanted to voice my dislike about them in general

Oh, trust me, I do try to make the best of it. I love this game, in fact it's my favorite out of all the ones I've played. But the way I see it is how are they going to know to make changes to the game unless we tell them we do or don't like something.

Me too! Re: Missing Items :(

I lost 90k dappers today. I don't make such claims lightly - fortunately, at level 56, there is really nothing to buy except for maketoubs. I can also recover that money with 3 or so outings.

The game should have some simple transaction logs like a bank - I'm pretty sure this would not add a huge resource burden. Each character should have a log for the last few days that could be referenced by devs only to check on bugs. Each transaction should have a transaction ID that could be cross-checked with the server (that would be a big log).

Columns:

TrxnID - Vendor - Item/Cash - Amount of Item - Amount of Cash

something like that. Also, a periodic snapshot of inventory could be taken (once a day). Then check the inventory against the transaction logs when hunting down bugs. Of course, I'm sure they don't have a bunch of developers sitting around doing nothing waiting for wiseacres like me to make suggestions!
