Umm, the derivative of e to the x is e to the x, ie. itself. The derivative of
the above equation will be slightly more complex, but not exceedingly so.
You mean this thing is actually serious? I thought Zumwalt was kidding us by giving us some equation for electomagnetic pressure in one dimension. Or maybe polarisation. It's kind of hard to determine with all those symbols representing multiple different quantities.
I mean, which game creator would implement Pi in an equation for experience?

Nevrax?
(PS. I think they use lots of pis in their equations. When I told them I
didn't like their leveling curve, they said "Tant pis." which I think means
"So many pis".)

Ok. Ok. LET ME MAKE THIS VERY CLEAR.

heheh
I was looking for somthing like this.

lol
At level, lets say 100 you need , umm lets just say 1,000,000 experiance to level. At level 150 you need 1,500,000 to level.
You know somthing easy to understand. A graph or chart.
Or how about. Every time you advance you need to get experiance points X times your level number to advance again. Then X changes by Y each time you advance.
Please explain with somthing joe average can understand. You know what are X and Y?
BOY you guys are good at math. lol

Nevrax knows for sure, we are just (sort of) guessing.
But would be rather easy to figure out, make a fresh character.
Level 10, 20 levels, or more (for better accuracy).
Note down experince gained per level.
Plot on paper/computer/wall, put into a calculator or solve by hand (my favorit

).
Rite mission done, recieve a knowledge cube

You're all insane.
constant * current_level = EXP required to get to get to next level
The constant is somewhere around 1,000.

Thats it? At level 100 you need 1,000,000 experiance points for next level. And so on. 150 = 1,150,000/ 200 = 2,000,000
Are you sure? heheh If so I guessed right in above post. Now thats funny. lol

You're off by a factor of 10, but yes.
(Aelvana, we were having good fun yanking jackmor's chain. I'm sure we could have milked it for another 20-30 posts.

)

*FALLS OUT OF HIS CHAIR*
Think bell curve.
Bottom of the equation is a small amount of exp needed, higher level you get the more exp is needed in greater jumps, there is a multipling factor that curves off the exp to level bar.
You gain exp in great amounts both in low levels and in high levels, equal to each other in approximation.
So, yea, there is a curve, and a spike, then a curve, starts out flat, fast to exp, then eventually slows down, then balances out.
I about choked on my pizza as I read others inputs on this equation, its real.
Just probably has nothing to do with this game
