Hi there.
I tried defraging my hard drive but that made no difference.
I went into Ryzom config and changed graphics from auto to direct3d and also unchecked the software sound option. I then also re-installed directx and so far ive had no Access Violations.
Apologies for not doing this more methodically to find out the actual problem area.
If you are overclocking and the above does not work for you I have also heard that changing your RAM timings to a more open setting has helped. Or theres the nasty option of having to lower your overclock as this game maybe sensitive to overclocked CPU's like UT2004 was as i remember.
