OK, Here it is the Euro-English guys have a poll, and I thought I would extend their thoughts to get your feedback for the devs. Let it be known that the Arispotle guys have yet to have an uproar over PvP while the German folks have had a guild who have been "roadside thugs" charging a fare for safe passage through an area. If you did not pay, they took your life. (sorry no Rez 4 u)
Please vote above, and provide feedback as to my comments below. It seems Polls are often more effective than ranting. And btw, if you rant and rave in my thread instead of being constructive, expect some interaction from my role-playing counterpart in game.

My point with this is this, ok PvP, but how does it play into the game and not just become some silly thing that is a diversion. Here is my suggestion, aren't conflicts mobile? If some Kami tribe shows up in Tryker and starts having a battle with a Karavan tribe, isn't this a "living World" PvP type thing. That local area is in a battle, and in entering, you need to choose a side. If not, both sides may attack you in fear for their lives. You could in this way assist the NPC's that you have allied with and/or hunt down the opposing tribe. This mobile conflict would force you potentially not to be able to access part of a local area for your intended purposes. In this way things would move and grow, and get out of control at times. I can't imagine why the greenseed would not find one of the nearby outposts and temporarily take that over until someone chased them out, either playing character or NPC.
