You could prospect for them and hold their mats for them during the 39 levels you will need to gain before you can harvest on your own. And if/when pvp is opened up in the roots, you can also keep an eye on the compass for blue dots coming your way. This is a slight off-spin topic, but i have just reached level 100 desert foraging..... from reading this thread i understand this means nothing for PR foraging... as in my q110 stanza will not work there????
I always understood that the only things which would change are:
Terrain specialisation (Desert 2 for me)
And actual specific Mats Stanza like "Amber" or "Magic Focus" (never choose them)

I see everyone had an opinion about the harvestability in the Prime Roots. I can say that I was told there was an inbalance and it will be fixed asap. I don't think it will be like it was before, but it should be better than it is today. Thanks for your understanding guys. Patches always have surprises, this is one of them.

its still not right tho eshin... i can pull 130q mats from a 200q rescource in town but i didnt spend weeks of DP getting all the spots i know in pr just to be told go elsewhere and do it again..... nevrax made a big bad mess outta this and i dont think the playerbase will let it stand....

It's rather clear that this kind of policy sucks major time, since there are no q50-q100 roots and the lower ones, like Windy, isn't exactly too near (or easy to get to). Surely it's logical to place lower end roots a lot further deep into the territory than q200-q250 ones...
Anyway, my daps for this whole PR changing biz are that roots needed more difficulty, not all places - just the areas were you could harvest all you want without even checking the radar (Sunken, Trench). It's now hard to navigate, yet quite possible, and same goes for harvesting too. This minimum level required is kinda good thing, but the issue at the moment that lower level harvesters can't get levels there isn't, not at all. Another thing is that now the deposits seem to run out of mats, not the same with depletion. Problem now is that they respawn back quite slowly and just now I've waited 5 hours straight for the fung resin spot in Sunken City to respawn back.. nothing so far. And it's not just for me, no one can't get mats until they respawn back.
I'm all for it that there should be a rough amount of mats available in deposit, so you can't farm there all you please till you're full. Well, given that they sort the respawn timers (or if this is just a bug, I'm fine either way). Another good thing is that the gauges are now more responsive or whatnot, meaning that they won't die on you or explode without giving an ample warning now (as they do stop when they're about to explode or die, giving you some time to do something even when under lag).
Talked to guide, said that the mat availibility in deposit and its respawn rates are getting fixed as soon as possible, and like Cerest has pointed out other issues are getting fixed too. I just hope that this doesn't do the same and alienate players away from the game, mainly because they don't have the patience or time to wait for the emergency patches to kick in (patch 1 pretty much crippled my entire guild, for the record).
If the mat respawn timer gets fixed and lower level prime root harvesters are given a chance, only thing that's left is to balance the prime root zones and all's good as far as I'm concerned.

i agree patch 1 mistakes crippled many guilds most still have all there members in but only 3-4 of them are active nowadays
i just cant fatham why they keep doing this with the patches tho they have a Test server the patches go on there the people post the bugs and they just dont get fixed they just send it out live and fix it after whats the use in having the test server? why not just use it as a mirror server so that there is no patch downtime just switch us to the bugged patched server and then upgrade the other then fix the bugs over the coming weeks as they do now
