tryker event at 10:00am pst?

hmm, i've got a friend on right now(1:35pm pst) that says there was some sort of tryker event involving teleports to the tryker lands this morning. not sure if this is true, he just showed me the teepee(spellcheck) in one of the matis towns with a tryker diplomat standing there.

if it is true, i'm wondering why the NA events team would do it at 10am pst... when maybe 10% of the playerbase is online? 10am.. that's 1pm for east coast... in the middle of the day on a friday?

hopefully he's just bsing me.

i can't remember where i actually saw this but it said that an attack by feral tribes like the cutes is imminent. so not the kitin this time but i haven't been able to find the post again so i am not sure.

If that's the case then it's even more retarded. You shouldn't do it at one centralized time, you need to do it when the player base is on on each of the servers.

Anyways, I heard the raid didn't start until a lot later in the day, which is fine, I guess more people were on, the problem being if you were matis and couldn't get on at 10am (if its in est, that would make it 7am pst, and you better damn believe me that I'm not waking up at 7am), then there was no way in hell you were making it down to Tryker land. I know of several people who tried to go solo, I know of one large group who tried to make it, and all failed miserably. So even if the event itself was not until the night, it was inacessible to anyone who wasn't on early. And that's just not cool.

It was accessible to everyone for the duration of the event. The newly appeared ambassadors in Yrkanis and Pyr had all the info needed to participate. (I talk about the EE server, not sure if this has happened on US server yet)

After the initial teleport in the morning, you could only get there if you walked. The tryker diplomat was still there, whenever you clicked on him he went on his we need your help talk, and then that was it.
