Well im now lvl 11 fight and lvl 20 magic :D And Aprentice Magician. I can 1 hit the first mob now lol. I started adventuring farther and killed a mob for 1300 xp! Kinda dangerous tough..

I also started toying with making new spells a bit, but at this point there seem to be very little change I can make to them. I did do a more powerful "finisher" spell with close range for when my Acid 2 doesnt 1 hit the mob or get resisted.

Oh one last question! For a little bit now, when I cast my best spell, it says my magic amplifier doesnt work. I looked at the shops and cant find even the category of this kind of equipment, only wands. Is there something better I can buy at this point that help with my stronger spells?

Thanks again!
If you check the info on your spells, they will have a spell level on there somewhere. You need a magical amp of that quality or higher for the amp to boost spells. In the refugee lands the highest Q of gear you can obtain is q20. This is done to help encourage people to not linger there too long. But be careful of leaving to early as well. For the mainland is much different and takes getting used to. They do have low level creatures, but nowhere near in number that the refugee lands do.

Wich brings me to the next question! Is it ok if i keep lvling both fight and magic? Is that gonna cripple me later on? I read you can change profession or something like that, but then you would slowly lose your old skills.

Anyways the whole thing is unclear to me, what do they mean by "profession", what are titles for like "apprentice magician", and how exactly should I go about raising my skills. A clear explanation would help me a lot!

Thanks again for the help!
I level all four skill sets. Although not equally I use, and therefore level, all of them.
The titles are just that; titles. They do not describe or force you into some path. I have the "Ranged Weaponsmith Apprentice" title, but anyone with over 50 in ranged crafting has that (course there aren't too many of those), even if they have 0 in every other skill. So to compare me to another person who has that title you could find an entirely different character.

about the amps,

they are sold on the 2h melee weapon vendors
BUT they are player made only, so if no players in the area made any they aint around to buy unfortunately.

when they are around be sure to right click on them and check the stats, the boosting factor can differ a lot between 2 amps.
