What do Nevrax think?

Post by glipe »

Lot's of people on the board have been argueing back and forth about the patches. In fact, lets not beat around the bush, people have been narking on about one thing or another since the game started. But it's turned a bit boring now that so many are complaining on here. I just want to ask Nevrax a favour and keep us gamers in the loop. What do they think of the patch? Is this the way they wanted it or is it too extreme in certain issues? Go a bit Molyneux on us and tell us if you've made a booboo, or, if this is by design, let us know so we can deal with it without whingers. Sorry if I seem demanding, I'm sure you all get enough of that.

I appreciate your message but the way forward is to let Nevrax know what we think. I have no problem with mobs being harder but it is frustrating the way they have done it. You'd think Harry Potter had issued them with magical protection or Barry McGuigan given boxing lessons overnight.
It is the frustration of having spent hard earned sp on things which have become useless at (if you will excuse the cliche) the wave of a wand.
Example: Blind 4 used to work reasonably well with most mid level mobs. Now blind 7 works once in 4 or 5 times. Since it is now unreliable, people don't use it or other similar tactics. If they are unused, how will you or I be able to level up in that skill? I've seen acid 9 resisted as consistently as blind or stun.
If they had been made less effective or the mobs stronger that would have been consistent & less of an bugbear.
I am not paying a subscription to be frustrated in play. I get enough in real life. I will allow them a reasonable time to declare their intentions but if it stays the same then I will move along. I enjoy the game & have participated since beta stage but if the beta had played like this I would not have paid £45 to get an early delivery through Alapage.
Nevrax take heed. All the talk in the Guild today was about the WoW beta and would we or not. About 80% have already downloaded it & playing quite contentedly.
I don't want to leave the game so please don't drive me away. Let us know what your intentions are before you find out ours the hard way.

Hmm. I take all the points in the middle bit. It's easy to start losing hope when the road is rocky. But you say to do it your way not mine and then finish off by telling them to do what I said! lol. I love it!

i'm off to WOW beta too - can't be bothered to wait around being told nothing anymore - I am still amazed that such a bad patch could be put on a game at such a critical time. All they had to do was take the power of blind away - everything else was fine.

Anyway I keep looking for info on when the patch with be adjusted - and looks like Nevrax are happy with the patch - so as i'm not i'll leave Ryzon too it - going to go to a game with some content (It's quite important Nevrax).

I think people who are unhappy should post up then leave - it's time now to either stay and put up with it or just move on. I for one will not post anymore, as it's not fair for the people who like the game.

But I wanted to let Nevrax know that I'm a unhappy camper (I think that's fair enough)

Did you even read the previous post and Lawrence's post?

They ARE actually doing something. Perhaps they have realised their mistake and are taking steps to fix it....
