Who is this dpkdpk person? Is she/it a dev that controls the gingos? Some people are such ****************************.

On what are you thinking? Anymore tampering with mobs that way is certanly not the best option. I think there couldn't be any better option that what YellowSnow has offered.
The game seemd on a VERY WELL MADE BALACE betwen fun, challenge, dificulty, etc...
I can also think of no other reason for this patch than to stop us leveling so fast, i can not possibly imagine why else they made such radical changes that ruined the game.
And the option planted here is nothing but the best solution, DEV's could have done that and the players would never had noticed.

I'm a nobody, who happens to get the same XP killing Gingos as I did before. It was stated here that someone was getting 1/3rd the XP for them, so I wanted to clarify that if that is the case, it is either only them (or, alternatively, it's only me that's getting full XP, but I doubt that. )amitst wrote:Who is this dpkdpk person? I'm really not so bad, btw. I'm not posting on here about how I'm quitting or unsubscribed already, for instance. People who have unsubscribed and continue to post -- I frankly do not get it, nor do I understand why Nevrax keeps their forum accounts open. Just breeds negativity.

Because they paid Nevrax money and they are bound by the terms of the contractual stipulation of their own eula to provide the services rendered until the experation of the payment period.dpkdpk wrote: I'm really not so bad, btw. I get the same XP killing Gingos as well, but what the person you say was getting 1/3rd of the XP was actually referring to the difficutly of all creatures. All the creatures I have encountered are 3x more difficult than before patch 1. I can handle 1 Gingo pretty easily, but when 3 others join the fight, I have absolutely no chance of survival. Before the patch1, I could make it through the fight with the skin of my teeth, but now it just means more death penalty=not fun.dpkdpk wrote:I'm a nobody, who happens to get the same XP killing Gingos as I did before. If neverax didnt kill the gameplay, the mass of people who quit or are thinking of quitting would not have happened. People begged Neverax to not place the patch on the live servers-they are the ones that gave birth to the negativity you find here now.
All they have to do to redeem themselves is to at least scale back the mob difficulty and re-scale the leveling system, then the players AND Neverax would have what everyone wants.
I am glad you are not having the same frustrations during combat that some are, but changing the combat system to slow players from leveling so fast was a terrible decision by the developers.
