New Prospecting Options

Post by geneseto »

OK, so patch 1 has come (and hopefully will at least partially go soon ;-) , and we have some new options for prospecting: the "up to XX" versus the "only XX" where XX is fine, choice, etc.

My question is, which of these lines to choose? Each looks like the same sp cost and I am wondering if I should get one line or both?

Thanks.

i'd suggest only taking the "xx only" line, as it gives you exactly the quality you are searching for, and usually you don't want to bother with fine sources when you need choice

One thing to take into account (and I'm going from memory here so someone correct me if I'm wrong) is that the 'find only XX' options use quite a bit more focus than the 'up to XX'. This may push you into using a higher credit brick than you might want to.

If you can, you might want to take just one of each and try them to see which one fits your needs the best, and as always check the bricks carefully before you spend points on them in case you end up with one you can't get a sufficient credit to use.

(Sorry for teaching anyone to suck eggs, but I've done it myself on occasion when not paying attention)

Which doesnt matter, cause your focus gets refilled anywys.
