A little help for the lost

hi all, i just joined the game b4 the patch... anyway, i just learn the skills 'prospect materials up to choice' and ditto for 'fine materials'... but i cant seem to find any of such things in the town of Nistia on the Matis Noob island.....

I've also read the threads regarding the "VISUAL CLUES" on the ground in the FALL or WINTER but thats to no avail....

please, can someone kind-hearted guide me with this one??? either a link to a map of where other such materials can be found....or a further explaination on where and how the "VISUAL CLUES" look like (screenshots perhaps)???

Hey there,

Try bushes, near tree trunks, if you see a large gathering of herbivores that might also indicate a nice patch of materials. Fine/choice materials are more scarce on the newbie islands than on the mainland.
The best way to level forage on the newbie isles is stick to the automatically popping resources near the city and prospecting there.
It's been a while so hard to remember
