Hi,
I picked up my copy yesterday and went to install it last night.
1. CD Installation flawless.
2. Initial Setup flawless.
3. Game patch flawless.
4. Character start flawless.
5. Played 2 hours - flawless.
6. Played this morning for 2 hours - flawless.
I have developed systems for over 35 years, have played a large number of MMOs at release and for several years. I understand the massive amount of planning, coordination, and effort that goes into the production release of huge systems.
I salute the entire staff and the computer network groups that made it happen.
If the worse we have to deal with was a short delay on delivery, Ryzom should have a long and prosperous life.

Indeed, i just picked it up yesterday as well and had absolutely no problems with installation, patch, character setup, and initial play. My only complaint is the music, rather lack thereof.

Seems some people have luck others don't. My install went well but when I started to actually play the game there were problems. First that the Zorai welcomers don't work, then that the deliver missions don't work. I thought I had a problem when I installed. One of the cab files would not load and it said that it was damaged. However I turned off norton anti-virus and restarted the install and it worked. I don't know if it was that or just a bad read from the CD.

Since I have been beating up on the team daily about the outstanding issues you guys bring up would it be ok with you if I passed this nice message along to them? I really think they would appreciate it.

Nice someone expresses his pleasure here.
Most of the german players for instance whine and complaine most of the time though they can´t experience bigger problems than the other countries, exept for some translation issues!

Ah now if i could just get the game then ill most likely say the same thing. Though in beta i myself had no problems except for the please wait... problem...and that was fixed after scouring the forums for a half hour

I to thank every one for a great job on the game! I also would like to say thank you for letting me in on the fun in testing off and on for the last 7 months. I realy had fun in that. I think that the graphics look very nice, cause i have every thing turned up high in the game. Once more THANK YOU!!
