The free time refers to the fact that a non-existent company cannot collect fees.

If you read your EULA it says that there are no refunds no matter what.
That and the fact that they make no guarantee to keep the game up and running.
Every company has those clauses in their license agreements.

And GameForge France being insolvent means that there is no company to collect any refund from since customers are rarely thought of as creditors.

Regardless of what the EULA says, I agree with Ariwen and would like my subs paid back too. Three free weeks of not being able to play doesn't make up for the months of subs I paid just before the game went into receivership.

The silence that came for weeks before the news of receivership just makes it look like Gameforge knew where the game was going but didn't bother telling anyone. And then the membership section of the website going down for days before the receivership statement was rediculous too. Telling CSR's to tell us it was just a bug and would be back up on the Monday was just lies in my opinion.
