huge abnormal lag

i can launch the game alright, but when i start playing, there's this small window in the middle of the screen saying please wait. it keeps blinking every couple of seconds but even after about 10 to 15 min it doesnt disappear. all the game files are up to date, and when i check the connection status in-game, it says for the server status 'FS lost'. is it my pc or are the servers having problems?

It's the servers. Somehow a side-effect of this.

The Ring is much less laggy, so some people are occupying themselves in the editor or in scenarios. But it looks like you're on a trial account, so if I remember correctly, you can only load example scenarios or mess around in a very limited editor.

lol ive already played ryzom loads last year in ruins of silan but havnt touched it since^^ now im starting over again, hopefully this time going into a paid account

Hey im getting this to, laggy as hell. Just come back to play the game again, but i cant do anything on server. When im running, it looks like om walking. This is really bad tbh. i have paid for over 1½ year on Ryzom and i get this.....

anyone have a solution to this??

The lag is server side, affecting all the players at once. It is mostly due to the Fact that GameForge France has gone bankrupt and is presently in receivership, leaving the hosting bill unpaid.

Solution are : Ignore the lag and dig or craft. Digging is presently slower but easier than ever. Only make sure you're in an aggro safe spot because chances of getting rezzed are little if you're nowhere near a TP.

How do you ingore when you take one step then stop, one step then stop, FS Lost, sychornize, connected, FS Lost......
