Hi, I'm from Germany! I was one of the first people, knowing for Ryzom and made the first and biggest Fansite the last 1.5 years. But unfortunatly the game is still nearly unknown in Germany. I don't know how many german subscribers we have. I don't think it are much more than 1k, even less, my Fansite is the biggest one in german and got only 400 Visits per day. Every day a lot of people quit their accounts, including me. So i think 20k is a much to big number.btamilio wrote:In any event, even if Ryzom ends up not doing well in the states, it's very popular in europe and seems the right fit to do even better. Even if my number is low and it's 20 or 25k, they'll get it -- if not here, definitely in Eurpoe.
And don't forget, the Developmentcosts have to be payed back too.
Btw imo Nevrax made to much changes to the game, to fit it to your, the North American market.
One Word to DAoC, it is so popular in Europe, cause its playing in our old World. But lost much longtime subscribers since ToA, me too.
