Teleporting, portals, packers and mounts
Re: Teleporting, portals, packers and mounts
my question now
does the food need to be in the animals inventory to eat it, or can he consume it from the riders inventory also?

Re: Teleporting, portals, packers and mounts
I always assumed it had to be in its own inventory, but can't say I have any proof of it.kiexa wrote:my question nowdoes the food need to be in the animals inventory to eat it, or can he consume it from the riders inventory also?

thanks, always wondered, never bothered to test
Re: Teleporting, portals, packers and mounts
The food has to be in the animal's inventory, from where the animal will feed when hungry. If you keep it in your personal inventory, you can prioritize the food distribution among the packers/the mount.kiexa wrote:my question nowdoes the food need to be in the animals inventory to eat it, or can he consume it from the riders inventory also?
The only MMORPG in which you bash each other with wooden swords exclusively.
Re: Teleporting, portals, packers and mounts
Also, if you set your move speed to "walk", your animals shouldnt get hungry while travelling, meaning they are at full strength when you DO want that extra speed.
Havent done any time trials to check if Mount walking is faster/slower than Homin running, I suspect it is slightly slower tho.

Re: Teleporting, portals, packers and mounts
Question about the portals:
1) I see on the loading splash screen that there are a bunch of different regions with lines connecting them. I assume the places where the lines end are where the portals are. Is it possible to cross into a region without using a portal? Just walk across the line? Or do you have to use a portal to enter a region?

Those portals are the only way to cross between the major lands:zantsuken wrote:Question about the portals:

I was going to ask all of these questions. Glad I found this thread.
Re: Teleporting, portals, packers and mounts
When waliking it is much slower than homin running (and insanely slow when swimming).iwojimmy wrote:Also, if you set your move speed to "walk", your animals shouldnt get hungry while travelling, meaning they are at full strength when you DO want that extra speed.

Also he continues consuming some food, but at very low rate.
It can seems strange but packers following you riding in 'walk' mode consume much more than the mount.
