A answer to Kodel on a matter of record

Post by riveit »

Kodel wrote:As far as you know or as far as you have a record?. Do not start abusing your position as archivist for the sake of your beliefs or faction Riveit that would suck. People have come to rely on your records and I would like clarification and a record of this before this is true. I thought that an attack WAS made by the KA on a community OP, but i'm not sure. I only deferred to riveit because of his meticulous record keeping in this game. Please make this a certainty or a belief...it matters Riveit..well to me anyway, and maybe to all those people you try and prove right or wrong in those posts of yours.
I have no record of any attacks on any of the Community Outposts by the KA or anyone else. My records begin May 1, 2006. By the phrase "as far as I know", I meant to imply that an attack could have occurred of which I have no knowledge. I enter all attacks that I know of into my records without fail. Sadly, I am not omniscient however (or my stock portfolio would be much better :) ).

Kodel, if the KA had attacked a community op, I am quite sure that we would all remember the resulting bonfire on the forums. :D

Sorry Boroshi for evading your closure, but I hope that this statement of fact will cause no further harm.

Edit: typos :'(

If anyone wants to quiz Riveit on the quality of his record keeping, I am sure he'll happily respond to requests for information and explanation. That said, let's not have a discussion about historical in-game politics in the -guild- forum. If you honestly want to know something, either ask reasonably or stay silent. Being rude, flaming, or making generalisations where you have no evidence just upsets people unnecessarily.

That is all.

~Tal, on-her-high-horse.

Edit: Oh dear, I just read that line too. Way to typo, Riv >.<

And a gentle reminder here too for everyone to please stick to the Forum Rules and Netiquette. :)

Also, while this is the forum that the request originated in, its not the place for any further discussion on either the original subject, or on the subject of outpost history; redirected to General Forum.

Sorry Riveit I know you are not omnipotent. Yes i'm sure you would have records of it so I am sure it didn't happen. Boroshi will not interfere with this thread Riveit do not worry.
I Like you Riveit you are a good player, you must have put alot of effort into recording all the facts of these battles, much more effort than I have afforded this game. Sorry for being such an ass to you all this time.

I won't post on these forums anymore. [Marjo - no false accusation please] . It was interesting to get these discussions underway again, but the 'community manager' thinks otherwise. nevermind just another closing chapter on the sham that has become Ryzom....

1. If you truly feel that Community Manager Boroshi is acting in a biased manner you are free to address this issue through the proper channels rather than level accusations on this forum. Consider this to be a warning.

2. I am closing this thread as it has become a witch hunt and serves no further use other than to inflame and accuse/slander players and staff members.
