Brave may have made a diplomatic blunder, where her good intentions have been mis interpreted as evil manipulations,
but that is doing nothing near as much harm to the community as Doubletaps temper tantrum.

I think you all need to take a few deep breaths, maybe go for a walk, and think about what has actually changed.

I dont even know which guild got the ex-community OP, but from the posts it seems they will continue helping the "under privileged"

A Kami guild has Malmont Farm.. it has happened before, it is one of the best OPs for fighting over, so it will happen again.

in short
Nothing of any significance has changed

or perhaps the most important change, is that a player who has devoted most of her time to other people has decided to take some time for herself. There is only so much a person can give, so if she was getting snowed under, its good that she gets a break.

Tantrum ? Even some loyal Kamists see my slant (and know I don't take politics seriously), WTH are you talking about ? Quit making unbacked statements, mine aren't... even if mine are biased they aren't tantrums.

Although Factional Politics and Outpost Politics are a very real part of the Atyssian experience on Arispotle, please remember to follow the forum rules. Discuss, debate, argue if you will - but let's keep it clean and refrain from personal attacks. *slips off into the shadows and grabs a bowl of popcorn*

At least previous battles have mirrored honest intentions...
hmmm guise of neutrality, that sounds familiar.
*cough* pyr militia *cough*

if the kara want all the ops and want most players to be kara, have fun once it happens. alot of new players follow the cats.

Whilst I don't believe it was good idea to use a community OP as a prize, what's been done is done...Braves guild has on OP which can be declared on at some point in the future so its not like it is now untouchable....the Community OP programme lost an OP.....the Kara/Kami (in game) war has gained a new target to fight over which only helps to enrich the game.

I will say that after participating in the battle and witnessing the tactics used by Brave and her guild I must admit I think it was a well won OP. Thouroughly enjoyable battle and a congratz thrown Braves way.

Politics suck, even the best politicians make mistakes, mistakes are what they are....end of :-)

I specify 'in game' war because too many people see a rival faction tag above someones head, oppose them in game, and then go oog and still see a rival/enemy/opposition. That's just not cool

Just a note... If it seems there is more Kami getting support from the CO. Look at th OP list. its pretty obvious why.

kara has the most ops, less need for kara guilds to use community ops.

exactly, and the OPs held don't rep numbers... Kami are not that out numbered. But just enough to lose usually... -Example- say it takes 10 more ppl to win an OP battle... if karas could keep that 10 advantage, they could hold all OPs... Just because you have a slight advantage *usually* does that mean you should own ALL the OPs?

So because the numbers are not 'that' different, there are alot more Kami with no OPs then Kara.

Anyway, sorry to bother you peeps, don't have my Xbox hooked up and can't sleep so I am bored... *goes back into hiding*

hmmm the thing is red that to win a attack on a OP you have to out number the defenders at a ration of 1.2:1 cause of the role the guards play... So if a side is down say 10 people compare to the other they wont have a way to win the attack... And well even if the numbers were exactly even in a battle the defender will win... and sorry for going off topic :P

ajsuk wrote:You people seem to have your blinkers on too tight. The declaration on Malmont and the release of a community OP DO become related when you use it as a prize to be handed out for support in an attack. How is this difficult to comprehend?
Quick question jayce, how hard is it for you to beleive that someone can attack a OP just to bring friends together, to have fun. Why cant you realize the OP was gonna be given away... It was never as a prize for coming and supporting the attack and getting involved with the fun that took place. Fun and joy many people had on both sides that is now tainted by immature out bursts over it on these forums...
