Not to crafters, bug in magic amps
Re: Not to crafters, bug in magic amps
Again, they do not make it worse. Choice mats do not modify they magic focus stats in any way. Basic mats improve them.

Reminds me of the bug crafting ranged ammo, where choice actually nuked your damage. That said, I'm not sure Silv isn't right (as usual)...but can someone run experiments with choice vs fine vs basic shaft/grip mats along with some generic choice amber and post what the results are? Would be very helpful. Thanks...jclifton wrote:Err the point of this bug is that using BASIC mats should not make a superior staff to one made of CHOICE mats of the same material. Yes we all know u can use whatever mats you have for shaft and grip but they DO effect the magic stats in a way opposite from what you would expect. The grip and shaft mats should either NOT effect the magic stats or they should improve them as the quality of the mat goes up, NOT make them worse..
please read....

It's shrike, btw (Aenea/Marin ingame on Euro-English), not Silverion. He is my guild leader.
That being said, I get good results with basic mats for choice and excellent amber. For supreme amber I got the best results with choice shaft / grip mats. But I managed to get those, too, with a rather complicated mixture of basic, choice, excellent AND supreme shaft and grip mats.
