Ok as i get asked this alot ill give you a brief Histroy of UKM Gaming Clan

United Kingdom Mercenaries started as a gaming Group and was founded by UKM_DaveG in 2000 playing a game called Mechwarrior 3. This game was predominantly Yanks and the idea was to get together a group of lads on same GMT hence UKM was born. DaveG is still kinda the boss man and i believe he is in the SWG/DAOC ukm guilds.

I joined UKM in 2002 and in Mechwarrior 4 vengeance and am currently the unit leader for UKM VL unit in MW4 Mercenaries (though since ryzom ive not played any battles this cycle ) and now also Guild leader in ryzom.

UKM have units/guilds in all of the following games
DAOC
Myth of Soma
SWG
MW4
FREELANCER
SoR
Jedi Knight
and Jumpgate


So as u can see we have a bit of history and a big community

It has to be said that although the UKM clan has a load of history behind it and sometimes the UK only rule seems a little harsh for a game like Ryzom, we have to respect the idea (and clan) behind it, and it does mean we can co-ordinate things better time-wise. However, we are not insular or averse to helping out other players and guilds as much as we can. We're a friendly bunch, we'll pour you a gingo's skull full of fermented shooki juice, and we'll have a laugh and a joke with anyone from anywhere.
