uh yeah i wrote that post in two sittings and the middle part got lost somehwere sorry :)
i meant to say it either has a massive range *or* a high RoF came out sounding like i said it has both

And i agree ranged needs some serious tweaking for it to be truely useful in PvE, and those comments were meant to include the assumption that ranged was going to have a bunch of bugs fixed and damage boosted up a bit.

I am worried about them making it overpowered in PvP, really, thats what im trying to convey - not trying to say that its overpowered now.

Im worried that if you make the power equal to nuking but without the massive hp drain and still being allowed to move around at the same time all of a sudden you have a skill thats just better than anything else - and when you get a skill thats materially better than all others games get boring fast.

and i *still* hate firing in the opposite direction to your target :) looks so silly

I'd have to say that for all mats. Once you have mastered a region and PR, if you want to continue crafting, you have to either:

A. Dig for hours on end with no XP.
B. Start another region where your dig skill is undoubtedly well below your craft skill....which is very boring as after having mastered PR, region mats are redundant.

We have no economy, at least not dapper based. The economy is basically a slave based economy. "You want me to make you this, dig me 5,000 grind mats."

I am tired of walking around with hundreds of millions of dapper with nothing to spend it on. Basic / Fine NPC mats to 200 QL at least (perhaps even 250) would create a dapper based economy.

Of course when you want to craft anything decent, you still gotta go out and dig choice or above. I'm not worried about peeps "buying masters titles" as money quickly runs out. I spent 8 million last nite just leveling shields from 55-101. At higher levels, that money would disappear right quick and I may even start looting again for the first time in 2 years !
