Why can't I connect

When I try to connect to the game for the first time I get an error code 1 message, what does this mean? I have tried disabling my firewall but it doesn't make a difference. Can anyone help?

Hi Danny. Ryzom moved servers a little bit ago and it's caused a few technical problems that are being ironed out. Try this thread for help with it or if that isn't the problem the general Technical Support sub forum.
