I have never felt this way...I feel so useless. I'll just keep hunting and hunting and exploring until I can dig. If not, do not feel pity for me.
I might ask you to loan me some amber however, or to hold some amber for my friend to give to me.
It is still a strange and beautiful world out there, and lack of skills or not, I'm going to conquer it!!

create extracting action to your hands bar (or drag from skill list). still cant ?
what does it say when you select source and manualy press the button either by mouse or right number on keyboard ?
do you have the extraction skill yet ? bad eggs may of caused amnesia and you forgot it, so visit trainers.

If i read his other post good, i believe his char is bugged. he bought all the stanzas and was able to dig, then on next log on he couldnt dig anymore :/

I'm sure that if you start a new character you'll be fine. Some lost work and lost items, but it will probably be less work to regain what you have lost than for someone to recover the backup of your original character, which I imagine has been lost during transition from Nevrax to Gameforge. If you decide to try this, I suggest that you don't delete your original character from it's slot, because that will make any recovery that may be possible very much harder.

I will double check with the trainers! Honestly I never thought about that.
Basically what happened is this:
I made a new character (I had played a while before, on a different account and decided to make a new one) and logged onto the noobie island.
I dug, hunted, did all sorts of stuff. Got magic and fighting to 21, paid for the sub (I was eager) and left the island.
I found a GREAT guild, played some more then I DID find two xmas presents in the Tryker place. I got some eggs and a stack of cats I think.
I logged soon after that (a lil too drunk or sick, cant remember which) and went to bed.
Next day as soon as I logged on I asked my guild "did u notice something wierd?" (I didn't see notice it right away, but my skills bar was empty. Then I noticed other stuff missing.) Honestly I can't remember everything that was missing, you know how packs get...
And maybe I can re-learn digging...never thought bout that. I'll go check. My guy has reached a pretty good level, so I won't start another character just to get digging.
Oh well, it's fun actually. I don't know, I kinda like having a unique toon lol...
I mean, the way I am, I wouldn't mind if I was the only guy in game that could only run at half speed. I'm not sure why I feel this way, this game inspires strange behaviour!

Did all your stats reset to 100, or did you only lose the boosts given you by items like jewellery? If all your stats went back to 100 then perhaps the trainer is the answer - it sounds as though all your training has been lost and I would expect your SP have been refunded, a unique opportunity to reskill.
If you only lost the actions on your handbar (disregarding your items), and your training is all still memorized, then all you have to do is recreate your actions. Right-click an empty space on the handbar and create a new action (Grandma's Tutorial, 19Mb RAR archive). Maybe try an extraction action first. To get the actions as taught by the trainers back onto your handbar, go into your Action Progression window, select a branch of the skill tree on the left hand side, and all of the skills and upgrades appear on the right hand side. Anything you haven't learned is greyed out. You can drag an action icon like Acid 1 or Basic Extraction, from the Action Progression window onto your handbar.

I think maybe you found your way to one of Ghuiss' crazy Zora parties and are still dazed by the experience. Your property may still be found, overpriced, at one of the fences ... errm ... traders in Fairhaven so you might want to get yourself there quick!

Well, lets see.. got basic extraction, gentle extraction 10, and basic prospecting in my Harvest uhm..action bar thingy, about where i remember it being before i lost it.
I have Harvest skill 8/20.
Ive gone to the trainer but have no points to train with. Ill go try prospecting, and maybe after a few succesful attempts i can learn basic digging?
Thats the issue is that i can equip my basic pick but still cant dig...hmm..Ill post when i find out.
And yes I'm enjoying myself...a mystery is always fun. I have to admit that I would rather not HAVE to solve this myself (with you, the communities, help) but still, this game does not force me to feel rushed, or like I have to achieve that next level or I will be left behind.

Ok, so uhm...OK i dont know how or why, i dragged gentle extraction or something to my hotbar, went ahead and equpiied my pick and clicked on a gooey looking thing...and BAM it let me DIG!!!!!!
I have to say I have no idea at all what happened... I guess my hot bar just got blanked and uhm...heck I dont know.
