kalto1 wrote:Hi, as I said on another post, I just started playing Ryzom 3 days ago, and I still have some questions about the game. Right now I'm still on he newbie island, I finished all fighter, magician and crafter quests, and some others too. Im about 32 magic, 25 fighting and 28 crafting. Now for the questions:
- How do I invert the mouse? The key customization is easy and awesome, but I just couldnt find how to invert the mouse. Its pretty annoying to move around after so many years using inverted mouse.
There should be a button for it in the Interface Section of the Game-Configuration Window, if I remember correctly.

-If I plan to become Kami, is it better not to do any karavan quests? (and is Kami ok for magic oriented char)
It´s completely your own choice as to wich Side you join. It´s got nothing to do with your Charakters skills. Ans yes, Karavan Missions give you Karavan Fame and substract Kami, Kami-Missionsgive you Kami Fame and substract Karavan, so well...

-The ring attracted me a lot to the game. But when I upgraded my subscription, it was sad to see not one single ring game online. What's the best way to find such games?
If people put none into the terminals, then there are none I fear.

*sigh*
I hope it´s only us getting used to building these things and not a general failure.

-I know the skill system is one of the best things about this game, over other games classes. But in the newbie island it feels like there are just 2 classes. Teams have magicians and fighters. I love diversity. Is it better in higher levels were there are more skill tree paths?
Get rid of the Class thought!

Later it may seem that there are still just two types of Charakters in a fight, but if you look deeper there will be enough variations in Skill-Levels and behaviour of the Charakters do differ. A Tank can switch to healing in a second and vice versa. A digger can go up and tank with a simple change of clothes and maybe Jewels and so forth...

-How do mules work? I don't think they follow you the whole time around
Only if you tell them too. You may leave them at the stables or let them stand around, whatever you like.

Well, those are the questions I make to myself about Ryzom. If somebody is bored like me at work, some answers would be nice.
I bored at home, does that count?
