1. i'd like to say that i do love this game
but...
2. It hates me
I start the game up and no problems...make my guy...no problems...after about an hour of playing my dude somehow gets stuck in auto run mode when i didn't even push anything i was just standing around...i try to stop him but i notice that my mouse icon has gone completly M.I.A. so i try to use the keyboard but that's not working either...in fact...none of the keys work for anything...and this is only happening In Game or i wouldn't be typing this right now, sorta common sense but i thought i'd say it anyway...so i try restarting the game completly...i go to put my password in again and keys still don't work the only thing that works is restarting my computer and i'm not doing that every 15-20 min of gameplay seeing that that's about how long it takes it to happen every time...anyway someone please help me i realy wanna enjoy this game
EDIT: And yes my computer reaches the requirements for the game, i'm not that stupid

Re: What else could go wrong?
Are you using a specialised keyboard/mouse and driver setup?
Depending on the amount of system RAM that you have installed and whether or not you have a fixed virtual paging file then things may start to misbehave after a while due to the system trying to swap things out as the utilises.
When running full out and given enough room Ryzom will use 850 MB of RAM, so 1.5 GB of system RAM is really minimum to run the game client with little lag.

no no specialised set up and i have 2 GB of system RAM so that shouldn't be a problem and i don't know what a fixed virtual paging file is.
Re: What else could go wrong?
I sometimes have the problem, that my toon goes to autorun mode, without me having it switched on. For me it works to press both the forward movement and backward movement key at the same time, and then release both keys. Then the character stops moving.
Loose you mouse pointer sometimes happens when alt-tabbing out of the game. For me it works to alt-tab out and alt-tab back to the game, and everything works fine again.

i'll try that next time, thanks

Also, if mousebutton is gone you can try right and left click then it usually comes back. It seems it goes in some kind of mouselook mode.
I got that with the keyboard stuck yesterday (for the first time, played wthout problems for two weeks) and even after exiting the game I could still not write anything anywhere, it was as if it was stuck and I had to restart the game but then it worked great for the rest of the evening.
