Lol, playd that load of crap SWG? Are you kidding? I may be a newbie, but the only noobie I see continues to insist that if he is having fun, so is everyone else! Sorry, I playd the very first Open ended skill based game, it was a little Gem called Ultima Online, you are probably not old enough to remember it when it came out, but I am guessing that you have heard of the mess it has become now, kinda like your beloved SWG, but no, if you want real challenge go play on a Pre Tram/Fel UO shard, I guarentee you end up crying and quiting the moment a Red pks you outside of a city......Life in Britannia is harder than Atys anyday, so please do not tell me that I am more accustomed to easy-mode types of games, because I am not

perhaps you're not familiar with what the Elder Jedi has been reduced to these days. They spend their days on the SWG forums whining about... well, virtually everything.

I agree with Morgaine, the whining has destroyed the event on cho. Practically every post I have seen by you Darkcred is a flame and at least we agree on one thing. I also wish you had got socks for your birthday.

I'm not sure if you realize this or not but newer players " PAY" to "PLAY". They do not pay to sit by the sidelines while you get your title. Does the concept of being fair ring any kind of bells in your head?

Here is what I saw happening. The 100 plus crowd was running out and soloing the low lvl 3 pack kitins. Very easy to get your title and not much of a challenge. Don't even have to group. I doubt very much that the 100 plus crowd was grouping to take out the 100 plus lvl kitin groups. So all the newer folks cannot play because some jerk wants to kill low lvl kitins for his uber duber kitin killing title. How selfish can it get...

The solution here would have been to tone down any kitins under 100 and restrict thier loot and ability to give titles and leave all the 100 plus kitins for groups to go out and kill. But I doubt that the uber duber wanna be kitin killers really want to have to work/group to get the title when they can mindlessly kill the low lvl kitins while the noobs get to watch. Its all about selfishness...

*chuckles* the low level kitin don't drop enough pieces to make it even worthwhile to solo them. The best drop rate is on the 250 zone kitins and even then its a royal pain in the butt to get any of the higher titles. I personally have been spending a little time in the lower areas because of the newbies complaining that the kitin are making life too hard for them and randomly giving out whatever few pieces I acquire in my journies.

So get off your high horse and stop painting all the higher level players with the same brush- it ain't making you any friends, nor is it endearing you with the community.

The kitin invasion is meant to be fun, and if you spend less time complaining and more time working out how to have fun with it you might be surprised.

Here is the deal: We don't have many of these events!
I know, it is really, really hard to understand that, especially with so many people telling you the exact same thing. Soon, the event will end, the kitin will go away, and everyone can get back to thier grind.

In the meantime, how about trying to enjoy this break from the routine. I know..it is hard to be challeneged by anything outside of the ordinary. It makes us unsure of ourselves, that makes us uncomfortable, that leads to snivling posts on an Interenet forum about how unfair it is that new content was added to a game that was, frankly, becoming dangerously stagnant.

Many of us have been playing this game for years. Kitin invasions are a promise that has been far too long delayed. Many of us hope these sorts of things become more common...to jar us out of complacency. So, you will forgive those of us who have been waiting far too long for a credible kitin threat for being selfish and enjoying it.

Meanwhile, we will try to forvige you for not having more than a seven day perspective on the situation.

The kitin are the mortal enemy of the homin. They won't go away because you cry really hard at them. Grab a sword, find a team and beat them back.
Life is hard on Atys, deal with it or die.

Why don't you get a little perspective before you reply, and just so you know, I could care less if you want to res me or help me, or be my friend, because god knows you are not the sort of help, or friend I would want, so please, grace us all by staying away.....I mean Seren, was cocky, rude and quite offensive, and the spit in the face was analogy of how I feel this event occured, so please once again, I have to say this for the 5th time in 2 days.....get......it......right.....

I have mixed feelings about the posts you've made on these forums so far. On one hand, you've been overly aggressive on some comments you've made (mostly b/c we've attacked you). But at the same time, I don't quite recall most of my low-level-frustrations back when I was a lowbie. Life was tough on Atys when I couldn't find teammates to grind with and take on critters with, that is quite true.

I will acknowledge though, that voicing your frustrations out here on these forums at least tells me that you DO want to play and experience what Atys has to offer (although your delivery could use some... toning down). This is at least better than saying "your game sucks and I'm leaving, you *expletives*." I know if I didn't get my daily/weekly Ryzom fix due to some game-crashing bug, I would be darn near constipated and downright surly myself.

So I will take Acridiel's stance and offer you assistance in game, if you're on Arispotle mainland (which is where I am), as long as you're able to restrain your frustrations and work with us on getting you to where you feel you're able to play the game again. Small consolation during the days closest to your b-day, I know. But the kitin invasion event IS just one week, so whether you love it or hate it, it will eventually go away and be a distant memory.

What's your ingame nick and server. That might be a good start as to enabling us to help you out, instead of continuing to duke it out in the forums, which... isn't resolving much. (And if you've mentioned your info here already, then I apologize, as my short attention span isn't permitting me to look through all of your posts).

I'm sorry, but that was a bit rude, and kind of newb-ish. If Ryzom is too hard for you, go somewhere else to play...or stick around and give the realism a try. In real life you have to deal with situations that are tough and that you almost can't handle...Atys is called the "living planet" for a reason, as it brings that sense of realism right into your hands as you play. Though I have never faced down a Kitin, I know for certain they are one of the main threats to all hominkind, and this is what makes for good challenges and realistic plotlines.

If you want an easy route, don't play this game. I don't think it is fair to ruin an event for dedicated players and take away the privilege of a nice realistic event that they may have been awaiting for quite some time, just to suit newcomers. The game MUST go on despite the complaints. Atys can't spin a little slower just to suit newbie needs...just like life doesn't stop when someone is going through a tough time.
